I don’t believe any belt edges were burnished for the OT films. I’ve been building Vader belts for some time, and I do a light rubbing on mine, but not a full burnish.  That belt is a bit rough around the edges, but I don’t think anyone would really notice, so it’s all about what you like.

I don’t think the CRL states if it should or shouldn’t be and it’s kinda odd.

I think you're referring to the bolt, inside?  Yes, it technically should be silver.  A lot of people don't take the extra effort to make it silver, which is the color it normally is on most real guns, including the real world one the SE-14R is based on, the Rexim-Favor.

Any advice to get it that color?

    Hello.

I would, yes.  I really makes a difference.  In fact, I just got approved this week as Imperator with my SE-14R, and it's painted.  You can look at the pic here if it helps:

    Thanks,

    Chris

Did you paint the silver part yourself?

I’m not sure what paint to use for the color.

  4. So I recently got me a SE-14R for My costume and I noticed the inside color for the ejector is black and not painted a metallic silver.

Now on the CRL it is painted silver. But I’ve seen guns have just the black instead.

Should I paint the inside part silver or would it still be in regs per say if I leave it black. Because the CRL doesn’t say

This is what the CRL states:

    • The barrel detailing is evident with the cocking lever and slider in place.
    • The ejection port is also evident.
    • The scope mount looks similar to the magazine but smaller in size.
    • The scope does not protrude past the blaster body.

Not the highest resoltion as they are only background charachters. However, it would appear that the ISB social officers are now cannon.

Looks like we should now have the ability to create a new version of the ISB CRL that copies the aspects of the Non-Saga V2 (Straight let trousers and officer shoes)

    That’s definitely progress though.

I'm saying it doesn't matter. They cover that COFFEE logo up with a piece of metal or something. Unless you just want an all black mug that does not match what is on screen. It's easier and less work to just do what the prop guys did and stick on a greeblie.

you’ll have to let us know how that would go.
