  1. Thank you for the continued compliments :)

Due to health and commitment issues I have retired my 501st costumes and am contemplating the same with my Rebel Legion costumes. Unfortunately I am just not able to commit to one troop a year because of the toll my current commitments take on my health.

I however am keeping my costumes (though finances sway me to sell them) and will still be around online :)

I am sorry to hear that.. but your health is more important then this wonderful hobby. I think u could really help out offering your tailoring services, if your health permits, like i said that was the best Female ID i have seen.

will be praying for u :)

  2. If your Local garrison has cleared your costum then u need to submit your costume to the 501st through your garrison membership officer. u need to go to 501st id page and pick 5 , 4 digit numbers ( numbers starting with 0 and 1 are all taken) once u get the potencial 5 ,4 digit numbers u need to give your local GMO theses numbers. and he will do the rest.

I will PM the numbers avaliable till today.

  3. Just a thought but why does'nt the IOC create a charter for the members here and with the many of us that speak and type multiple languages we could make it so that someone who cannot read english can understand our group.

I think there were talk about this in the old forum but the number of memebrs that this was intended to help was non existent back then or something like that. spesific sub forums might help ( german, french, spanish..... any othere one that has a significant member count).

  4. :D Short and sweet!!!

The only thing u might want to add if the " u are not endorsed by LFL bla bla bla" as well as the 501st thingy

"The 501st Legion is a worldwide Star Wars costuming organization comprised of and operated by Star Wars fans. While it is not sponsored by Lucasfilm Ltd., it is Lucasfilm's preferred Imperial costuming group. Star Wars, its characters, costumes, and all associated items are the intellectual property of Lucasfilm. ©2009 Lucasfilm Ltd. & ™All rights reserved. Used under authorization"

And in spanish so u can be international

“La Legión 501 es una organización internacional de trajes de Star Wars integrada y dirigida por fanáticos y/o entusiastas de la saga. Aunque no esta patrocinada por Lucasfilm Ltd., es el grupo de vestuario imperial preferido de Lucasfilm. Star Wars, sus personajes, vestuario y todo lo relacionado son propiedad intelectual de Lucasfilm Ltd. son ©2009 Lucasfilm Ltd. & â„¢ Todos los derechos reservados. Usado con su consentimiento.â€

    Other then that looks awesome!!!

  5. :D Here Here!!!!! well put!!!

I started playing when i was 8 (Player later DM) and still was able to find time to do it till my 2 year of Medical school!!!!

First, What ever happened to good ole AD&D circa 1982?

Heck Ya!!! the new stuff is like WTF!!!! In this stay with the old school stuff!

Second, please stay away from crazy DM's that want to kill off your party at first chance. I use to be that crazy DM, BUT i didn’t kill off my players. i made it really hard game in which team work was a MUST!!! i would also see who was playing and have at least 3-4 different ways the game could turn depending on who played and what they did as a team. but there was always more the one way out.

Thirdly, don't play with other people that have to be home by midnight or their wives/husbands pitch a hissy fit. i was eight when i started and in Med school i still played with 1-2 guys close to my age the rest mostly were still in high school. so there weren’t any issues with wife’s, we mostly did week end sleep overs ( Friday through afternoon sundays) granted once in Med school i had to have face to face sit downs with highschoolers parents to explain that i wasn’t a creepy adult trying to get one on one time with their son/s - dauther/s when we had it in my house  But i had awesome referrals from other parents ( the story got out that i would "Baby sit" there house and kids, so may parents would go on week end get aways so we always had a house!!!

Fourth, don't be cheap on snacks if your the host. For the love of god, No!!!! we all ate like barbarians, easy 80-100 bucks on snacks and that didn’t include the regular meals ( parents would do anything to run off for the week ends

Fifth, Paladins and Priests, get over yourselves!! I may happen to like to drink and gamble in the cities we visit.

Given the continuous nature of our week end games, we would use towns as a way to have our breaks, i would play in town games with the different classes and mean while the rest would caught a nap,tv,nintendo etc. so every one would get to do what they wanted to do in regards to the characters!!!

Sixth, there is absolutely NO NEED to take five hours to create one character for D&D.

30 min tops and that’s a long shot!

Seventh, please! D&D is about the story! It's not any fun to continiously fight monster after monster!

One of the main reasons i was/became the most popular DM in my region, and had my reputation precede me was my narrative skills ( not to toot my own horn here) but Dam i was good, believe it or not but being DM was the reason i Kick arss in English lit all through school i was forced to read more and use my dictionary to learn at first and then after that ever year my iowa tests just got better and by 9 grade i was at a collage level writing and reading!!!!

Eighth, if your standing in front of a door with a bloody lever with dead bodies lying all over the floor in front of said door, please....DON'T OPEN THE FREAKING DOOR! Get a game plan first.

 That was entirely up to the Characters

Ninth, if your buddy Kenny invites a guy nicknamed, "Satan's helper" to play in your game and halfway through things get wierd as poodoo, you should have known better.

we were lucky no freaky or weird guys/gals ( well we did have some freaky girls but it was the very good freaky....

Tenth, get off your cheap ass and buy your own set of dice! And, please don't crease the pages in my player's handbook. Don't "doodle" in my Diety's and Demigods book either. These books cost money you freak.

U would get _icth slap if u did something like that……. We had a community dice, for thous that didn’t have there’s, but eventually every one got theres…. I still have mine!!!!!

THX for posting this, I had a blast from the past….. Very good times!!!! Gracias

  6. I think a new member area that would allow each new memeber a entire thread would be great, able to lett every one go to one area and say ello to the new guys, on the other site it was all cluster in one thread very cunfusing.

    and

    place a "Sticky"

Plz use the search engine & read past threads.

On the other site there were many ( to many) same questions and threads that had been answered on numerus threads before.

    Happy 2008
