Basically it depends on the width of the fabric. If memory serves, I bought like a yard and 1/2 for the exterior of the hats, a yard of lining material and about a 1/2 yard of interfacing the last time I built three hats. I forget the fabric width.

Those are pretty funny. On a side note, when I was Legion CO, I attended Wondercon in San Francisco with my buddy and my wife. On Saturday, my buddy and I went as TKs and my wife as a black jumpsuited technician. Folks honked and waved and were saying things like "Go Star Wars", "May the Force Be With You".
Flash forward to Sunday where I dress out in my Black Death Star Naval troooper and my buddy and wife as black jumpsuited techs. Same honking, only this time, we get "F**%$^ Nazis", "Get off the Street", "Ba#($#ds", etc. What a difference a day (and two Stormtroopers make).

What, like Imperial Girl Scouts?
More like British Orders of Knighthood.

Way back when in the 1980s in the Supreme Order of the Imperial Forces (a Star Wars Costuming Club) we had a sash that went over the shoulder with club decorations/awards worn on it.

Good thing we all know the modding/upgrading never ends
That is for sure.

Its our TK-anhkamun helmet we did for the TK Helmet Project for CV. Steve Sansweet ended up buying it.

I am not sure on what exact gloves they are, but in a shot as the Trooper opens Leia's cell you can see a triagular gusset sewn into the cuff. Also in a couple of shots, you see a flash of either red or orangish lining material.

Yeah, but the NCOs break that rule. Straight pants, tucked. Also, I see buckles. That means I can wear my jackboots to do an NCO while I'm waiting for my accurate equestrian boots.

Yup the "NCOs" in A New Hope wear the same boot as the Naval Troopers (i.e. with the triangular gusset with buckle). There is also a strap/buckle at the wrist of the gloves on the NCO and the Naval Troopers.

Tucked into the boots.

Found it: Pantone #449U was the color that LFL Archivist sent to me.

If memory serves there are hooks and eyes at the neck line to close it (along with the "modesty panel").

Many, many, many moons ago I had posted on the old forums the Pantone chip color for the Green Officers tunic (per my contact at the LFL Archives). My old latop with the e-mail from her died and I don't have access to my old archived e-mails anymore. Does anyone still have the chip color that I posted?
Thanks.

In the So Cal Garrison, one of our members used to wear her Imperial Officer with a skirt at times (its not a kilt, but...... ).

I would like to second the request for the "edit" feature to be enabled for use to modify our own posts. I have a post yesterday that I incorrectly did the tags for a photo that I can't fix without posting a completely new e-mail.

FYI - The command staff .gif doesn't appear to be resolving properly (at least on my browser). All other graphics on the forums seem to be a-okay (at least when I view them).

One request re: board styles/colors, if we go to a style similar to the old forums, can it be done as an alternative style that can be picked via our profiles?
That way, folks can pick and choose which style they like best (eye strain wise).
