I was checking out the 501st Forums database for costume totals and noticed a listing for "Imperial Deck Crew". Any ideas on what that may be?

"Parade Rest" and "At Ease" are two different positions. Not interchangeable.

It's a good feeling, isn't it?

The wookiepedia page does list that they're in the affiliation of the Imperial Navy and Army.. but on the very same page it says it's the Rebel's standard issue!
Rebels, the lot of ya!
You might want to check out this link, they WERE used by the Imperial Navy in the films.

I believe the A280C should be OK for a Navy Trooper to use. There are a couple of scenes where they are used by Imperial forces.

My bad Jared, I was referring to the CRL for the Imperial Crewman (Bridge and Scanning).

The CRL on most if not all Officers uniforms states that gloves shouldn't have decorative stitching on them. Unfortunately, those do. The price is also crazy, you could order a pair from Wampa Wear for almost half the price. Others have found even less expensive gloves that meet CRL guidelines, maybe they'll chime in.

Great! Don't forget to request IOC/501st status now that you're approved.

We'll probably have to wait until the movie comes out to find out what that rank bar means.

Those appear way too tall with stitching that won't pass inspection.

I'm with John, I have both gray and black Wampa Wear flight suits and I'm happy with them.

Like Phil said, it's pretty good for a Crewman. I picked up a couple of them and like them, although you'll need to work the wrinkles out of them to get them to look good.

Another photo.

Here's a screen shot from the latest Rogue One commercial. Close up of an Imperial Officers cap.

Which Officer CRL are you referring to?

Amen to that, Sir!

RynoHawk gave an honest answer, they were just a prop piece added to the uniforms, they were never shown being used in the movies. Unless there's a description of their use in one of the Star Wars novels, one can only guess as to their use.

Yeah, I know this is non-canon, but this is the first chart that covers Enlisted rank that I've ever seen. I think I'm going to make an E-7 rank bar, since that's what I retired from the military as. Maybe even wear it to a non-canon event.

I purchased my gloves from Wampa Wear and they fit me (dare I say it?) like a glove. They have a chart where you measure your hand in order to figure out the size that's right for you. You could try sewing a pair if you're handy sewing leather.
Imperial Deck Crew?

I don't think so, as far as I know there aren't any Rogue One type IOC type costumes that have an approved CRL.
