Sometimes decisions are made for reasons of consistency, to the best extent possible, when faced with inconsistent material.
But a decision will be made soon.
If that is the case; then it should be blue row up. As we have many more sources of it being worn that way then not. Holding up R1 as the best source is doing an injustice to the rule of having three sources showing the same thing to be included in the CRL.
Plus we are not talking about a complete rewrite or massive edit of the CRL. I'm not sure how adding a single sentence saying "rank can be worn either red or blue row up" would do any harm to whatever consistency is being looked at.

And just an FYI but the SWCCG by Decipher also shows her wearing it blue row up. And this is not a request to have it only allowed as blue row up, but simply to add the option of the blue row up.
“Rank May be worn either red or blue row up”

Just so I fully understand. Even though it was shown in several comics blue row up, it has been assumed to just be a coloring error? If it was just in one single issue I could buy that, but they kept it blue up through several issues. Also, who is to say that the Director of Advanced Weapons research would wear his bar the same way as the Director of Imperial Intelligence? Couldn’t an argument ever made that Isard having been given latitude to have a slave camp built into her SSD would just wear it the way she wants? Not to mention that the Imperial rank system has never been uniform.

Thanks for clearing that up Jeff. May I ask what exactly the discussion consists of, and an approximate time frame if possible?

I did send it, the day after this thread was started on FB. Not sure what happened.
What discussion needs to be made? Someone with admin rights (presumably a staff member) posted that the CRL would be updated. Plus this is a one bullet point sentence, not a massive rewrite, and the point in question meets the "three source" rule.

I had posted this in the IOC FB page, and it now seems to have been deleted. I did get a response from an IOC admin that her CRL would be updated. I have not heard anything back, and my PM to Hask has also been ignored. I would like to know when this CRL will be updated (it’s one single line that says “rank may be worn blue row up)?
I would also like to know why my post was deleted; after it was acknowledged that the CRL would be updated due to “numerous examples of it being worn blue up”
I am attaching screenshots from the FB thread. If this will not be updated I would like to know which admin posted that it would be updated.

For my Krennic I use a 35gal Husky rolling tote. My boots go in a Wally's Custom boot bag, my DT-29 has it's own bag as well. All of the soft parts get folded, and laid on top of the boots and blaster. All of the other bits and pieces plus various repair items go in the tray.

Nice boots. Not a bad price for custom made either. I’ve seen them for close to $400.

Lord help me, I went ahead and bought replica German Officer boots with the straps. Pricey.
Do you have a link to them?

That’s the rub. I only did it because I got incredibly lucky on my boots. Found an eBay seller going out of business and sold me a pair with the strap for $115.
It’s also the biggest reason we only have two L3 approved Krennics in the legion.

It's a bit ridiculous how hard these boots are to locate.
That’s why you almost have to get them custom made. Just stumbling on a pair that are your size and good condition is an exercise in futility.

Good find. Pricey but still good.

I never even noticed that it was missing on the CRL. I just assumed it was always there.

Great! Staff is looking into this. thanks for the bump Neil. poke me in a week if its still not in. TY
Hi,
I see the update to the CRL, but the wording of it is still vague. The second bullit is basically a copy of the third bullit. Plus it says "they must face the rear"; well what exactly does it mean by "they"?
Was there a reason it could not be like below? Just add a sub -bullit that says the pull tab must face the rear.
OPTIONAL Level three certification (if applicable):
- Original German Officer Marching boots or an authentic replication.
-
Boots must have the top adjustment strap, on the outside of the boot and slightly set to the rear.
- The pull tabs for the straps must face the rear of the boot.
-
I have a question about the L3 requirement for the boot straps. We have known for over a year the Krennic has them on his boot, and they face the rear of the boot. Why has the CRL not been updated and published to reflect this?

You have to include a link to your Executor Request, this should provide all the pics. But a front and back pic is never wrong. And of course all the details and items needed for L3.
Hmmm, I just read the deployment guidlines for L3, and it did not say anything about linking to your L2 approval. Only that you have to be L2 first. I would guess that having Executor above my avatar would meet that requirement.
-
I'm about to submit for L3 approval, and have a quick question.
Since I am already L2, do I need to resubmit all of my L2 pics or just the pics of those items needed to meet L3?

For what it is worth Magnoli is about $500 cheaper. Clothears want's 995 British Pounds ($1300) for the tunic, pants, and hat. Magnoli want's $800 for the pants and tunic (and $30 for a yard of matching fabric for the hat). Even spending another $100 to have the hat made; you're still running less then Clothears.
I got my Krennic from Magnoli, and even with the cloak added on I was still less then Clothears. Not knocking them at all; only saying there is a big difference in price for what I am hearing is little to no difference in quality.

Someone should have told Adam; that Krennic never wore a hat with that uniform.
-
At first glance they look good to me, and assuming he is still in business the price is more then fair. I do like the rubber sole on them too, as that will make standing for long periods far more comfortable.

My tunic and cloak both came from Magnoli. They will not add any attachments to the tunic, and only put two small magnets into the cape.
I tried at first to attach it to the tunic, by adding magnets, but the dry cleaner melted the plastic casing I used to sew them on. So I removed them all, and sent both to a seamstress I found on Etsy who added clear plastic snaps the both items.
There are 4 on the front, and two on the back centered on the the seam on both the tunic and cloak.
