Hmm... This means scratch-building.
I picked up one of the KW Designs AJ^6 models, hoping that would suffice for an addition. When I get a few more projects off my plate I'll start looking at sculpting, unless someone beats me to it.

As I've been driving my Mouse Droid, I've been trying to find ways to make my Imperial Crewman make more sense as a Droid Controller. While catching up on Rebels (I know, bad Star Wars fan...), I saw the Imperial Controller LT-319, and figured that the Lobot-style headset would make a perfect addition that would stay within canon. Unfortunately, references for this character and character type are few and far between, and essentially just lit by a monitor screen.
Would a AJ-6 headset be an appropriate addition, now that these have been introduced? What more would need to be done to make these an acceptable addition?

I ended up popping off the cap, dremeling off the tabs (*Everything* is better with a dremel!), and gooping the pieces onto the aluminum. Seems to be holding up well after a trial run at a pseudo event tonight!

Another noob question here... Getting ready to assemble the rank bar, and I'm wondering if the buttons are supposed to be "whole" on the badge, or just the translucent caps?
