Excellent work, and great tutorial!

I had this problem for a while before I had pockets added. Short term the belt pouch should be good, but I'd look into getting a seamstress to mod your pants for pockets. Much nicer in the long run.
-
We even had valet Vader.

Good call on that third one Jello, I don't know how many times people confuse me for a Nazi *sigh*.
Comic Con in San Diego was one of the first times I trooped in my officer costume and there were quite a few people who thought I was a Nazi too
Which i find wierd because they really dont look the same. Obviously the imperial forces were influence by the nazi, but they are different enough that people shouldnt immediately link the two.
I know right? but I guess when you look at a TIE pilot and Vader the differences are gigantic, but people still think its Vader every single time.

800 of us!? Wow most impressive.

Anyways here's a few things I've picked up on that haven't been listed:
Always stick close to your Vader as it just looks right and you can handle for them.
Insoles are a life-saver, I've walked miles and miles in my boots without grinding my feet to stumps.
Pockets in pants-seems silly but trust me it sucks to be without them.
It is frowned upon by some for a green officers but for I carry a sidearm. People love blasters and it means you can do more then just point menacingly. Especially good when you are limited in troop numbers and can't order TK's to fire for you.
Don't try and boss around another trooper as if you are an officer unless they're cool with it otherwise you may come off as a bit of a jerk to some.
Should always be emphasized but hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!
Stay in shape (goes for all costumes)
Always maintain good posture and an imposing stance when in public eye. Be proud we're the brains and looks of the Empire!
Align your rank badge and dosimeters ahead of time then put on your jacket and check for straightness in the mirror.
If you have a black uniform wear only a single row rank badge.
Crewmen, don't wear a rank badge take pride in your enlisted status!
Change up your pose every picture or so.
That's all for now but I'm sure I've got more.

I've been sing this since they first came out. Wish they would do some others or bring the stupid prices down, I'm back to using my ODST one now.
-
Well I don't really need to lose weight but it would be good to have some accountability to get in shape and gain muscle. I'm in!
6'2 150lbs
Hope to tone up and perhaps gain muscle mass with a new routine.

Very cool I love the Ironettes.

Allied Electronics is another option if you need lenses, but they are a slightly different size then the Newarks
To my knowledge Allied is the only one right now that has the translucent yellow. I may be wrong though. I like the Allied ones, but the slight oversize in height and width is annoying, but not too much of a problem to me.

He's on the 501st main forums under the Official Merch section I believe.
EDIT:Oooooh those flat military id style cards, man I wish that run would re-open.

A solid set of promises, I look forward to seeing them fulfilled!

As someone who has successfully created a Star Wars fan out of his little sister the one hits home. Anything I can do to help?
-
Oh this goes very well with my off duty concept I have been working on. Thanks Shep!
-
Looking good! The more I see that armor the more I want it. Need to start saving now.
-
Avatars in general are gimmicky but I had the spare points and said "Why not?"
-
Geez that's worse then trash compacter duty!
-
To my knowledge the only red uniformed officers we recognize are Ysanne Isard. I don't her exact rank other then her title "Madame Director". I don't think there are any other known red uniformed officers.
-
Good to see you on the IOC as well. So what role will the 501st have at CV and how can I help and be a part of it?
-
Cool, I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes
-
Cool! Where's you come up with those? Very neat idea, certainly stands out. Looks like you can really put a hurting on those rebels. >

So do we have proper measurements for a Captain's badge? I know Char Tozzard has a moff rank badge but isn't that the same as Needa and Piett's?
-
Looking good Merlyn! Congrats on being official.
Baggy and Wrinkly, oh my!

I usually will iron or dry clean after a couple of troops. thankfully it doesn't wrinkle much really, but sometimes I'll accidentally store it with something a little too close.
