I would avoid the site, it looks like they are a Cosplaysky copy cat. I like how they say in the description that they have updated their costume for 501st standards. That right there tells me they are a copy cat. As Hawk said, you are better going to cosplaysky and getting theirs.

I am going to take a guess and say it is a placeholder of some sort. This picture has surfaced before. None of the line officers ever had a holster. The holster here is believe to have been added by the museum staff.

The suit looks ok. As Bobby said, it looks fairly close to a cosplaysky one, though the color seems like it might be more screen accurate. At least in the photos they do. But then when you look at their olive cap, the color looks wrong, so it is hard to make a judgement on that. The belt I would stay way from.
For $110 bucks, give it a try if you want.

I think BJ is trying to become the first person to be registered in every costume in the legion.

Wait till Jenny has space or find a local seamstress that is willing to take on the project. The problem is none of the commercially available hats are going to match the color of the line officer. So you have to get extra fabric from cosplaysky and get a cap made with that.

Looks pretty good to me, but BJ is the boot expert in these parts.

Try contacting the German garrison. I seem to recall someone there had done some custom sewing but dont remember who it was. Being the largest garrison, i am sure SOMEONE there must do some custom stuff.

Wonder if the boots are stuck in California due to the labor dispute with the dock workers there. lol

Try stretching them. A friend of mine came up with this method of using a football to stretch them. The method is posted on the boards here.

If you can find a pair of leather boots, i would get those. In the long run they will hold up much better, and have more resale value if you decide to get rid of them.
There are several sources of leather boots in the $200 range listed on the forum here.

Oh I know that, but to me it just represents a lack of attention to detail. Especially from a company that is founded by former 501st members, from what I have heard.

Anyone else notice that in the pictures, the code disc on the cap is upside down?
-
Well.. I bit ... hope it turns out good! Even though it appears they skipped the modesty panel on both this and the women's version..
I just noticed that as well. Interesting.

Now those are prices that I can live with. I am soooo tempted to get the olive green standard.

Thanks for the info.

Dont get the cap from the place you linked, they are not very good. If you are going with the black uniform, your best bet is to either find an old Museum Replica cap, buy one of the new ones produced by Anovos, or go with one of the people on the forum here who makes them.

If you have the black uniform, you can either find an old Museum Replica's hat, or go with one of the people on the forums here that make hats.

You say no dry cleaning, but can you throw the jumpsuits into the normal wash and drier?

I am not sure if there is a right or wrong answer. Images of the screen used blaster I have been able to find, seem to make it impossible to tell exactly where the "scope" is centered. As you can see here. http://www.partsofsw.com/merrson2.htm%C2'> It might just be up to personal preference on where to put the scope. Maybe someone else has a better source of information.

I will let BJ chime in but I am seeing a few things that might be suspect with those.

I posted up that a while ago. But it doesn't hurt to post it again.
Would these work for boots?

They look ok, but I noticed they aren't leather. You can probably find a pair of boots in that price range that are made of actual leather.
