Bring a lint brush, maybe some dewrinkling spray, and some freebreeze spray. I keep all those in my bin. It doesnt hurt to have a small emergency sewing kit if something goes wrong. Biggest thing is just go over your costume the night before, make sure you have everything and it all looks good. And polish the boots the day before.

I discovered Walmart carries these, at least in my area. MSRP $18. A little pricey for my liking so im going to shop around online and see if i can find these cheaper.

An ingenious way of doing stretching. And im actually suprised you have been able to stretch them that much. Well done and hopefully they turn out fitting well for you.

Those look to be pretty poor quality to me.

A little more progress. I have removed the handles of the blaster. I plan on painting all the "metal" parts of the blaster with a black textured paint but I dont want that on the handles so that's why I removed them.
I have glued the one tube to the left side of the blaster. I also took one of the airsoft pellets and cut it in half and glue the halves to the same side. That is the yellow bulbs you see on there. Just above the yellow bulbs is a snap assembly that I have glued to the blaster. The silver disk is the snap. I have removed the pin on the back of it to make it sit flat. I haven't glued that yet, that will be glued on after painting because I want it to remain silvery, but I have put it in the 2nd pic in the location I plan on putting it in.

The next phase is the "tubing" on the side of the blaster. What I have used is 2 pieces of garden hose adapters that have been cut in half. The first pic shows a reference pic of the adapter, as well as the pieces I have formed out of the adapter. I used a dremel to cut the adapter in half, and then I glued the two pieces together end on end. This long section will eventually get put onto the right side of the blaster, as seen in the 2nd pic.
I also cut another adapter as to get a single half piece that will get put onto the left side of the blaster. I had to use the dremel to shave these pieces a little so as to fit more snuggly to the side of the blaster.
Once I have these glued on I will provide additional pics.

The TK designation is only used to signify stormtroopers in the white armor. We still dont really know what the difference between the olive and black officers are. The current theory is that the black officers are low grade army officers, thus stormtrooper officers. Even if they are, we still dont know if they are truly stormtroopers, or just officer who have been given the task of leading stormtroopers.
With all that being said, the real reason they have a separate designation is to differentiate between one costume and another.

I like the idea of 3 more movies since that is what Lucas originally intended. However i an concerned that without him directing it wont be "his" story. Whether that is considered good or bad is an individual choice. What has me concerned is that even after that they plan to release a movie every 3 years or so. Somehow the idea of watching Star Wars Episode 20 in the distant future is a bit disturbing.
