Prices will skyrocket for the properties during conventions. Just my experience. Marriott w/ premier status will let you book 50 months in advance, Hilton w/ diamond 365 days - I can't speak for typical booking methods.

Regardless, being close to Disneyland, there's a ton of places to stay around the area.

Indeed, I did; the "fast shipping 3-5 business days" option. They have a completely separate add-on type link for it--bit like adding the custom option to the cart as its own item--but if you just watch out for the shipping option when checking out it seems to be the same service (via DHL Express, and $30).
 
Strictly speaking, shipping only actually took 2 days from when it was picked up in China to when delivered here in Texas. My order was marked as "fulfilled" on 03 MAR, package was handed to DHL in China on 04 MAR, packaged delivered here on 05 MAR. I only include that long-winded version--much as I can't guarantee it'll always run the same--in case anyone is aiming to plan such things around when they might be out of town, etc. Hope that helps.
 

Kind of unrelated, but did you happen to pay for the express shipping to get it that fast?

Anyone with experience dealing with Cosplaysky ever have to deal with their customer service, and perhaps have a good contact person there? Their people at the info@ type email address aren't impressing me, to say the least, in addressing an issue I have with my recent order. Please bear with me as I explain...
 
The short version is I ordered two of the "deluxe" staff officer type uniforms, received them very quickly (3 days from China), and one of the tunics arrived (still sealed in the plastic bag) with what can best be described as bird dropping stains down one of the arms. Yes, as in a bird/several birds seemingly did its/their business while hanging out over the tailor's sewing desk, or something, and they shipped it in that condition. The info@ person's suggested fix was to simply "wipe it with a wet towel".
 
Obviously, I shouldn't have to wipe off possibly infectious whoknowswhat from a brand new item (even an inexpensive one), and am hoping someone might be able to direct me to a better contact person with the company. That same tunic has another issue--itself, I think, warranting an exchange. The neck size on this otherwise supposedly "large" tunic is a measured 20.5", while the rest is done to about the measurements posted on their website. I'm not sure the average male with a 20.5" neck could otherwise fit in a large, but maybe I'm just crazy (truly no offense to the big neck guys). For reference, the large otherwise fits about as expected (i.e. like most other "large" jackets/shirts I've owned), but swallows my 17" neck.
 
If anyone is wondering why I didn't just send in my measurements for a (hopefully) "custom" order: Due to what I understand is a lack of a onestopshop available pattern for the officer uniform, my working plan was to use the relatively inexpensive Cosplaysky bits as a "pretty close" pattern to de-construct, adapt slightly as a better fitting/more correct pattern, and create my actual outfit from that/nicer fabric. This may have turned into an expensive lesson, but ya can't fault my logic (I hope)...lol
 
At this point, I'm still willing to work with the company, but having given them an opportunity to address what I consider two glaring issues and their response being absurd, at best, I felt the community could help and might want to know that such things happen. Whether I get directed to a better contact person, or not, if the company ultimately does the right thing I'll happily update this thread.
