could he also have an E-10 as well? The Major that you have pictured (that explodes in front of Han) is carrying an E-10 with him
Yes, definitely.

Will need to investigate if it’s even possible to mod.
While I'm no sewing master, I'm fairly sure it's possible with some degree of effort.
Right now, all we can say is it won't be L2/L3 ready right out of the box.
If someone can bring a Cosplaysky uniform up to those standards, I'd wager that a nicer quality uniform like the Anovos, would not be impossible to do the same with.

Welcome, Eric!
Perhaps put a non-functional rivet on the side you'd like to open, just to make it look correct.

Most garrisons have some kind of troop tracker.
We have a pretty fancy one for Florida since we have so many events http://fl501st.com/trooper-tracker/
Looks like I'm currently at 417 troops since 10/31/10.

Very interesting proposal, and refreshing to see some passion for our hard working crewmen!
We already have Command Divisions which are IOC members grouped geographically, and the Firebirds, consisting of our participating female members.
I don't think we've had much push, if any, for a particular internal IOC group based on a costume alone. Could be a swell idea.
I'd like to hear more thoughts about this.

Since I am a Clone Wars Admiral I am wondering if we can find enough reference to add some of the ranks from that era too.
As far as I can see we have the same rankbadges there for both Captain and Admiral (e.g. Yularen and Tarkin) three red above two blue. But we have some other officers with different rankbars like those clones in the lightgrey uniform wearing two blue and one red in a line (if I rememeber that correctly).
I will look for some proper reference and present the results here. Perhaps somebody has them already collected and can share them here with the community?
Yeah, whichever ones we have CRLs for, i.e. Admiral Tarkin, should be added at the least.

Stay safe down there. Report your status when you can.
A member of my squad in Tallahassee had a tree come through his kitchen and do quite a bit of damage to his house. Fortunately, he and his family are safe and unharmed. Everyone on the north east end seems to be fine.

She passed away 2 weeks ago at the far to young age of 30.
The greatest love of my life has been called home.
Deeply sorry to hear that, Ron. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Unless I missed something (entirely possible) L2 is L2. Nothing has changed about it that I'm aware of. Mark, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Gents, I don't think anyone is being argumentative here. I know everyone is passionate about new costumes, and just want them to be introduced to the legion in the best way possible. I think its worth continuing a bit of healthy discussion on these, for many various reasons, before they hastily get tossed together for a new CRL or an addition to any existing one.

OK, where were we now? Lets see...
I know there was a fairly long dialogue in PMs about this topic & just wanted to get the main points out here so any needed changes can be made. @Hask @tristanuk I think you guys have since made a few updates since this, yeah?

It's up to your garrison or squad, but sounds like something I would do if it wasn't 100 degrees here.

Thats a pretty cool looking uniform. I don't think I ever really noticed how unique it was.

Very nice work, Scott! When I get the chance to thoroughly read through this, I'll toss in my 2 cent.

I put Velcro loops on mine. it not only helps them stay in place, I can turn them horizontally when needed.

Is this in the proper order? Or just what we see on screen? Reading the new Thrawn novel which is canon and the rank structure is described as follows:
Ensign > Lieutenant > Senior Lieutenant > Captain > Commander > Admiral
Remember, we are a costuming club, so this chart is simply based on things we've "seen" and have approved costumes of.
Of course, anyone is free to troop with whatever rank they feel is fine and correct for the uniform or character they are representing, and can call it Senior Chicken Plucker 1st Class if they're so inclined. We just try to use this chart to stay in the realm of things we have seen.
We could go on forever about novels and where they fit in, but like any costume component, a rank badge is another detail that unless there's a clear view of, and some description of what it's called from a movie, comic, official illustration, ect, it's not really possible to fit it in here.

Great work, Melissa!
It appears you just need to scrounge up a holster and you'll be golden.

I think the Maj in question here is the one we see getting blown to smithereens. Fortunately, the anthology movies are pretty consistant with the rank structure created by Glyn Dillon.
