Love the idea though! Our chosen uniform has very few "Mods" we can do, and I always wanted to be able to do something different. I'm guessing though, that this is appropriate for green uniform only, right? The armor the black uniformed officers would wear would be TK whites?

Half and half. Usually wear the pants and boots with my 501st tshirt. Put on the tunic, belt and gloves when I get there. Yeah, I would be concerned with wrinkling, if you drove in the tunic.

I had the same issue. When I got them I was so excited, and then I tried to put them on and was like"what the hell????????" brute force is indeed required, and yes you can hurt the boot, especially if your pulls are canvas, not leather. Those suckers will tear! You can also hurt yourself, as I did. Pulled a muscle along my ribs trying to get them on. Out of the gym for a month. I kid you not. Most embarrassing stupid injury ever.
And no, do NOT put these suckers on until you get the tool to remove them, at least not unless you relish sleeping and showering in them while you wait for Amazon to overnight it to you!!! LOL!

Praji rocked the 4 blue, 2 amber badge, and he was a commander. Commander is a naval rank, so Praji was a naval commander, ya? Wouldn't that imply that the Stormtrooper officers (and by association, the Stormtroopers) are naval?

Interesting. For some reason, I always assumed them to be Navy, since I too associate TKs as Marines, and the Marines are a Naval offshoot.

I. Finally upgraded to MonCal belt boxes from my clip-on Altoid tins.
Trouble is, those dang cheap clips have scuffed and scraped my belt pretty badly.
So, how do you make it shiny and black again? Do you use the same tools and methods as polishing your boots??

Aww Deatrin, I STILL am angry at you denying me entry due to my Altoid belt boxes. Just because they weren't painted! YOU called it sloppy. I called it "savvy product placement"!

Hey Cheryl; I use the trusty Altoid boxes, and they are an awesome dirt-cheap way to get started and approved. However, they are, after all, Altoid boxes, so I'm upgrading to MonCal's well-regarded boxes this summer. They have the "clip" molded in as part of the box. And they're pretty cheap at about $10 a pop.
Altoids though, for the clips, I followed the advice given here on the forums and visited my local Dollar General store and bought 2 tape measures for a buck each. Brought 'em home, unscrewed the metal clips and screwed them onto the back of my Altoid tins. Voila.
