the store just calls it green...

Its curtain fabric , so the structure is a bit rough.

 

For pantone or RAL , I'd say :

But the structure of the cloth also matters , i tried to copy this colour with my airbrush , and found I had to mix quite a bit of bluish grey in the mix .

this is how the new patch colour looks.. fine or do I need to go lighter ?

 

The colour for the top part is a very light green /gray  colour

 

For the naming I would go more generic , like : Imperial Science officer , Tarkin initiative , and then for the other basic green one : Imperial Scientist

And then make the basic green one a non-face character and the  officer a face character.

I think Galen Erso , Eadu outfit doesnt sound very imperial

I might get shot down for this , but I think the problem is not the colour of the patch , but the green of the uniform...

I've been following the discussions an references quite closely.

I'd really like to see this costume added to our CRL list.

I made some screens and will add them here.

 

I also have pictures of me in my interpretation of the uniform.

 

It would be nice if we got this one signed off soon.

 

 

 

 

My pics were taken in a sunny condition ...all references , except the visual dictionary one were taken in rainy , dark conditions

As Hasbro has made the Erso figure using that awefull colour green... would it not be possible that they were told its light/mint green by Lucasfilm ?

Or would they just guess with no reference whatsoever ?
