Hi Atrek,
I got actual German Jackboots at this store: http://www.tridentmilitary.com/
They were reasonably priced too!

Just finished up playing soccer (football to me and many others!) and am heading to Barnes and Noble in Ann Arbor, MI here in a wee bit! Have a great day!

Happy Star Wars Reads Day fellow Imperials! Where are you trooping, and what are you wearing?

I like it! I think (but don't quote me) that in some of the comics sometimes there are references to officer medals and awards. I will have to go back and look through some of them to knock the cobwebs out of my brain...

As I was unfortunately not able to attend Celebration this year, I would like to know if anyone say any good fan flicks? Anything worth talking about?

Great news! Can't wait to see the outcome

Thanks, Jenny! You too.
You may want to pick up some old X-Wing Rouge Squadron novels & comics to learn a little more about Isard. They were always some of my favorites.
Agreed, there is quite a bit of detail about Isard ("iceheart") in the novels.

Yes, that is correct BJ!

I used these for belt boxes and then drilled a Tandy money clip onto the back. The money clip works for vertical boxes, but you would have to find a smaller clip or something else if you want to wear them horizontal.
What was your first 501st / IOC costume?

My first costume was my IC - Bridge Crew, followed very closely by my IN. I have always been interested in the "troopers" more so than the "stars" of the films, so this was where I started. I have gone on to do other costumes, both 501st and Rebel Legion, but still wear my both my IC and IN often. I have to say thanks for starting this post, it was interesting to read the stories so far!
