Bobby,
Thanks for the uniform submission. I think your trousers look a little baggy and could benefit from bracers and stirrups if you haven't already. From the back the trousers look quite loose, and sadly as with your previous submission the flares look a little too dramatic.
I can't find fault with the rest of your uniform, if you can address the problems with your trousers I'll be happy to clear you.

Sorry for delay (had a busy weekend trooping) request acknowledged

I wish! I found the image on the web

Justine,
You're someone after my own heart
As long as you're attempting to replicate a specific officer and you can show clear evidence of the marks / notches / holes and do a good job in replicating them that's great and what we striving to achieve. Go for it.

Phil

Those look good for level 1 and 2 clearance

Shawn,
Thanks for your Executor status clearance request.
Before I clear this uniform I'd like to see the jodhpurs taken in a little, they look a little over baggy to me. If the trousers are hanging a little low you could try pulling them up with bracers, and add stirrups to the bottom, but I think they're a little too bunched around the knee, and would need taking in a little. The shape of the flare seems to be good, you just need to ensure the curve starts above the boot at the very least. If you need to remove anything from the flare just remove it from the bottom and not the sides.
Maybe the belt could come down a fraction, and pull your jacket down a little at the back, and move the rank bar up a little so it is in line with the code cylinder pocket, yours is a little low.
Overall it's a good costume, just a couple of tweaks and you should be good to go.
... if you're thinking of submitting this for Imperator I'd like to see your belt boxes looking a little closer to the ones in the film. Philio produces some great ones for a reasonable price, you can get a pair of these, or to match these that would be great.
Kindest regards,
Phil

Bobby,
Thanks for your submission for Executor status.
You have a nice and sharp uniform there, though before I clear this though I'd like the jodhpur flares taken in a little. In my opinion they're a little too dramatic and large.
I'd like to see them taken in to something like this (symmetrical of course):
You can see the shape of Tarkins here:
I think this would add to the quality of your, already good, uniform.

Bobby,
If you intend to submit your costume at Imperator level as a named officer your uniform would need to match the configuration of the named officer. Sadly as you say, you do not have the correct weapon or holster for Commander Daine Jir.

If you remove the gloves you could submit as Lieutenant Pol Tredium, or if you get a new rank bar (4 blue and 2 amber) you could submit as Commander Nahdonnis Praji.

Phil

You don't see a salute in the film, I think the 'best' you see is Admiral Ozzel and General Veers who almost click their heels and bow their head to Lord Vader.
I'd need to look up the specific issue (I have all the Dark Horse Omnibus) the comic is from Dark Horse Rogue Squadron - it maybe Luke disguised as an Officer, it's around the Return of the Jedi period.

Clothears created an Episode 3 Officer uniform, but no one has purchased one, and I've only seen it on display.

The ISB officers do not carry weapons in the film, so they're not on the CRL. As Vertex says for a cannon troop this means no, but a non cannon troop they would be fine.

The front zipper and pockets should be covered by your tunic.
Assuming they fit, I can't see any reason why not.

One of the things I find humorous is that all of the bad guys are played by British actors and all the good guys are played, or dubbed to sound, by Americans

Those look to be a high end reenactment replica, yes they look to be good. I would image they are copied directly from a pair of originals. I particularly like the jodphur flares.

The difference is accuracy and detail. A standard disk looks a little plain, it looks right from a distance.
The disk with a V groove is more detailed and matches the screen used part. The V groove adds a little extra dimension and depth to the costume.

I'd say yes. You've provided good, and as clear as we'll get, reference images.
Great work, I'm always trying to improve the accuracy of my costumes, getting them as close as I can to the films. It's nice to see this in others.
Final call goes to the senior detachment staff, but looks good to me.

I have no hesitation with approving these (belt boxes and code cylinders) for Imperator (level 3) clearance.
Short of the found part they're the best thing out there.

The boots look good for level 1 and 2 clearance.
I can't see the gauntlets. If you want to get something accurate I'd suggest having a look at the Tie Pilot glove suppliers on the 501st Jolly Rodger Forum.
But it looks like you're off to a good start.
