I had to get the arch stretched in my boots. Took a little over a week.

If I move the hooks to the end of the modesty cover it should work. I am being sent a longer collar to sew on if I need to. Thanks.

I had an officers uniform made. Everything fits right, but the collar is to tight. How mich space can I have between the collar ends? I am going to move the eye hooks to the end of the flap so they are Hooked under and give me some more room. Thanks!

I am working with Magnoli on an Imperial Officer (Olive) uniform. The last one they made was 100% polyester. They sourced out new material and it is 55% Wool and 45% Terylene blend fabric. Is that mixture more breathable then the polyester? Thoughts?
Thanks,
Gerrit

I was excited and then saw the price. I am debating it against the TK and TD I have built. A suit of armor was $900 and then I needed to buy boots, blaster, belt, neckseal, etc.. Then again it is $1200 for a pair of pants, shirt and hat. The last full suit with belt, tie and shoes cost me only $300.00. Hmmmmmmm

I only talked to him via eBay. He was willing to do return if I was not happy.

I finally got mine stretched out. I filled the foot area with a rag and then slid a 25lb bag of bird shot in the boot and it sat at the ankle area. The weight and gravity stretched the ankle area enough that I was able to get them on.

Thanks for the stretching idea!

Found someone called the Boot Guy online who makes custom western boots, but will answer all boot questions for free. Stated to put a plastic bag on your foot and try. Right boot went on and the left almost did. So it sounds like I need them stretched a little bit. I can find someone local, which is getting difficult, or send them to him.
If anyone is curious, the site to ask boot questions is http://askthebootguy.com

So far a bust for me. Calf seems big enough, but I cannot get my foot past the ankle to get them on. From more experienced boot owners, is that a sizing issue or am I doing something wrong?

The boots I ordered from him will be here this week.

I have been talking to this ebay seller for about a week now. I took measurments yesterday, 9 different areas to measure, and placed the order. Custom leather boots for $250 is not a bad deal. He has one left in the run. http://www.ebay.com/itm/221540753322
Of course my wife has seen his other boots and is now excited to find a custom boot maker.

I am now looking into the boots from Larrymac on EBAY. Custom made for $250 is not a bad deal and it ships from close to home.

What is a stretch panel? I notice these boots have a tab at the top rear of the boot. Not sure if that is what is being mentioned.

No longer acceptable......That would be a wrench into plans.

That is great to hear. I was thinking of having them custom done, but I do have questions that maybe you can assist on.
1) How do they run? I have never worn this type of boot before. I am exactly a 10 1\2 foot, but my TK boots are an 11 and fit comfortable.
2) I have foot width of 4 1\4 so I think that falls in the E width category. The boots on the site come in D width.
3) Calf is 17 inches. How much more room do I need to put the pants in. Is 17 1\2 17 3\4 to much?
4) Floor to crease in knee is 20 inches. So 19 to 19 1\2 length is okay?
Thanks again,
Gerrit

Before I spend money on boots. Will these work? I have big calves.

Just as an FYI, I reached out to Clothears about a Line Officer Uniform, but they are currently on hold as they try to get the perfect colored material. They will add you to a waiting list thou.

Thanks for the information. I look forward to seeing it.

Greetings,
I have been floating around this site for a while reading and looking at builds. I was looking at the officer costume on http://www.clothearscostumes.com/. How close is that to approval or are there any modifications that would need to be given? Has anyone dealt with them before? Impressions of their costume and customer service?
Thanks,
Gerrit

The black silicone has been removed. Please review and let me know if it fits the CRL. Thanks.
