After we ended our St Pat's Day troop, I was crossing through the outdoor mall where the parade ended. A guy was sitting with his wife and kid, staring at me, and when I passed by him, he stopped me and asked, "Aren't you a famous chef?"

Well, I'm hoping to see some semblance of the IOC as we currently know it. Would hate to do future troops where kids argue that we're not the real deal anymore because Abrams has updated the uniforms so much. Judging from the latest "Trek" films I can see this as a possibility...
Oh yeah, and a new look means a new CRL, more time and money to invest...

BEFORE you go trooping, give them a good shine with a parade style polish (Kiwi works for me) then once you've toweled that off, put a very light coat of Mink Oil on them for good measure. It will condition the leather and waterproof it at the same time. As long as you don't scuff the boots while kicking in the helmet of some Rebel pilot, you'll find you can often just reapply a light coat of the Mink Oil without having to re-shine the boots entirely. If you run into a big scuff, well...shine and reapply the oil where needed. There will be lots of different methods posted on here, but this one seems to work for me...

If this was already posted, then forgive the repeat, but I thought those of us who recently benefited greatly from this latest IOC patch run should give some mad props and appreciation to Jon (Jonthevicar) and anyone else involved in taking suggestions, taking/placing orders, and getting them sent out. The patches are AWESOME, and we very much appreciate you donating your own time and efforts to get us the Imperial hookup on this fine merchandise! If I failed to mention anyone else involved, my apologies! Thanks again and you're most appreciated!!!
