  1. Alright, BJ, and all you officers who troop in the humid and hot regions--have you ever had issues with sun block staining the collar of your uniform, and if so, has it ever been a situation that standard dry cleaning can't take care of? Of course, it's much drier here in Utah but I'll be in the sun with no shade for about 4 hours today and since I'll be using sun block, I'm now worried about how it will treat this black uniform once the sweating really starts...

  2. Hey, Brother! :)

I BELIEVE it is made of aluminum, and therefore, should not rust...but I'm not for sure. The hats I've gotten I've used a professional steamer on to get out the creases and based on the heat and moisture, they should have rusted by now, being that I've hung them up rather wet and let them air dry. So, in my experience, I'd say they don't with minimal water exposure. Of course, I wouldn't wear that hat on a week-long ocean excursion around the Florida Keys, but hey, that's just me...

  3. Comrades,

I was just wondering what BJ, Mark, Daetrin, and the Crew (i.e.--YOU!) would think about setting up a constant-standing thread just for pix while trooping and having fun. I'm not suggesting people post full photo albums on a this photo thread, but if one could be approved to be set up on the IOC board where officers would be encouraged to share pix here and there, whether they be formal poses with their garrison or just random fun pix in uniform, it could be a cool thing. Besides inspiring new ideas of how to project our Imperial influence, photos are a great way of putting out our builds and sharing our experiences with our IOC brothers and sisters. I'm very interested in seeing how all of you troop out there and photos are a great way of keeping up with each other's events.

I don't know if this would take up too much memory for the boards to function efficiently (that's beyond my command level), but I think it would be a great morale builder.

    What say you?
