What is executor status, and how is this different from 501st approval?
501st approval is for the base costume, there are higher levels of accuracy which some detachments offer, on IOC there is Executor Level 2, Imperator Level 3. Guidelines can be found in the CRL's (costume reference library) http://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:CRLbyname For Scanning Crewman http://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:IC_imperial_scanning_crew

If it's a concept drawing then it won't be included, here are the guidelines for costuming acceptance to the 501st: http://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:CharacterApproval

I'm interested in what the final verdict is on this topic. I just put together my General Veers, as well - and noticed the same discrepancy with the rank bar. But I went ahead and built mine to the CRL, using the proper switch covers from Mouser. BUT with that being said - I believe the switch covers that were used on screen were actually slimmer/skinnier than the normal ones. When you look at a side-by-side comparison, you can tell the difference big time. So I would say before you use the normal sized switch covers and just space them out more - let's figure out what those alternate covers are and where to get them. I'm interested in getting a set too!
As Phil advised you should contact your GML to see if he/she is aware of the rank bar difference for that character and if he will allow it for basic approval as it is not stated in the CRL. I would also advise sending the reference of the rank bar for that character.

Very crisp, I'm blue with envy good luck

I had this one on my L2 list but couldn't make out if there where code cylinder pockets or not
-
We let our troopers wear glasses when needed, it's only asked they don't for application photos, but with a Thrawn or Tarkin I'd suggest to go without them if you can.

The only silver top code cylinders apart from the X wing type are these with silver clips not brass:
Only seen on these two officers

Waiting on the Blu Ray and all parts are in hand

Hello and welcome aboard, nice tutorial here and patterns http://s268.photobucket.com/user/Hawk220/library/Officer Pattern ID?sort=3&page=1

Could be a good idea to reduce the bunching around your knees, I added some elastic straps to the bottom of my flight suit. Also lift up your belt a little so the elasticated section is covered with your belt.
Good luck

Congrats and welcome aboard

If you make them close as possible to reference material there really shouldn't be an issue, that's how a lot of prop makers work

Couple more photos

Working on one myself, apparently there are also lines in between them, looks like 1 inch spacing and button go in the middle of each tile. I am just making the two bars then drawing the lines at 1 inch, too much trouble to try to cut them into inch pieces and wouldn't sit right anyway

Great news, there can be some waiting time with some suppliers but it goes to show why, Tiggie offers a quality product

Staff officer black wore 3 versions, 4 blue 2 yellow tiles, 4 blue tiles or 3 (or 2) red tiles.
But for basic approval you should be ok, it does not state specific combinations in the CRL.
But I would run it past your GML (garrison membership liaison)

The crew of the starship The Ghost will continue to battle the Empire next fall on Disney XD. Lucasfilm announced that the hit animated series Star Wars Rebels has been renewed for a fourth season. The announcement was made on the official Star Wars Facebook page.
Star Wars Rebels is currently nearing the end of it third season, which has seen some significant shake up to the series. In addition to bringing in fan favourite villain Grand Admiral Thrawn to challenge our heroes, the show also recently featured the departure of the Mandalorian rebel Sabine Wren (though it seems she will still be a recurring character). There had been some speculation that Rebels was perhaps winding down to conclude at the end of Season Three. This partially due to the fact that this renewal came much later than previous seasons, and the reports that a new animated series in the works. Fortunately, we now have at least one more season of adventure with Ezra, Kanan, Hera, Chopper, Zeb, and Sabine. The next episode of Star Wars Rebels, titled "Secret Cargo" airs this Saturday, March 4th at 8:30pm on Disney XD. -
We have a member here who purchased one, it looks very crisp in person.

Line Officer only, and also incomplete at this point. The description of each rank is as though you're facing the officer wearing it. Still a ways to go yet, but I'm plugging away at it.
Nice work, I've been researching variations of rank for a while and this will make it so much easier for others wishing to follow.
Keep up the great work

Unfortunatley I do not do Clone Wars or TFA eras, I have no interest in those myself. I understand the series switches to the Galactic Empire with Darth Vader and the likes later in the series?
The other problem is my wife will probably look at me strange if I start watching "Cartoons" at my age!! lol
I too didn't do Clone Wars at the start but I must admit once I was talked into watching all of the series it did fill in some blanks I had always thought about. Much can be said about the Rebels series, I agree it's not just for kids
What the what?
