gmrhodes13 got a reaction from DTR1 in ID-73168 Requesting Scanning Crew Executor Status
501st approval is for the base costume, there are higher levels of accuracy which some detachments offer, on IOC there is Executor Level 2, Imperator Level 3. Guidelines can be found in the CRL's (costume reference library) http://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:CRLbyname For Scanning Crewman http://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:IC_imperial_scanning_crew

gmrhodes13 reacted to Charlemagne in Embroidered Patches That Meet Requirements
Thanks for this! The way I operate, I usually import the source image directly into my rendering software, and I try to source my images from the canon references.
I'll see if I can get some renderings done later today.

Great news, there can be some waiting time with some suppliers but it goes to show why, Tiggie offers a quality product

gmrhodes13 got a reaction from PArmstr in 'Star Wars Rebels' Renewed for a Fourth Season
The crew of the starship The Ghost will continue to battle the Empire next fall on Disney XD. Lucasfilm announced that the hit animated series Star Wars Rebels has been renewed for a fourth season. The announcement was made on the official Star Wars Facebook page.
Star Wars Rebels is currently nearing the end of it third season, which has seen some significant shake up to the series. In addition to bringing in fan favourite villain Grand Admiral Thrawn to challenge our heroes, the show also recently featured the departure of the Mandalorian rebel Sabine Wren (though it seems she will still be a recurring character). There had been some speculation that Rebels was perhaps winding down to conclude at the end of Season Three. This partially due to the fact that this renewal came much later than previous seasons, and the reports that a new animated series in the works. Fortunately, we now have at least one more season of adventure with Ezra, Kanan, Hera, Chopper, Zeb, and Sabine. The next episode of Star Wars Rebels, titled "Secret Cargo" airs this Saturday, March 4th at 8:30pm on Disney XD. Source: Star Wars (Facebook) -

gmrhodes13 reacted to MoffSchrayer in Official IOC Rank Guide
Line Officer only, and also incomplete at this point. The description of each rank is as though you're facing the officer wearing it. Still a ways to go yet, but I'm plugging away at it.

Wouldn't hurt for you to look through the Imperator section at other approved L3 Praji's for comparison.
Good luck with the build, looking forward to the progress.

gmrhodes13 got a reaction from davede11 in Flight suit fitting
Having chicken legs and arms I had to take in my first flight suit, it just looked too baggy, if you think it looks too large then it probably is, I'd have it altered but photos will definitely help

gmrhodes13 reacted to Daetrin in Belt Box Size
The upside of it being L2 is that it gives people/suppliers time to move to the new dimensions, so that in a few years from now L2 will be the new L1.

gmrhodes13 reacted to fil5117 in Proposed Updates to CRL Staff Officer Black to Staff Officer Rogue One
When I was a costume mentor for the Garrison, I tried to encourage people to get the best out of them. At the end of the day different people get different things out of the hobby and different Garrison have different priorities. For me the levels allow for that.

gmrhodes13 got a reaction from fil5117 in Proposed Updates to CRL Staff Officer Black to Staff Officer Rogue One
Unfortunate but not all GML's only look at basic requirements we do look at the whole CRL and do encourage members to reach for the higher levels.

gmrhodes13 reacted to Dimentex in Proposed Updates to CRL Staff Officer Black to Staff Officer Rogue One
Well, i'll say I wish you had been in admin on Clone side - because one of my friends had to redo her holsters on her clone because Level 1 said on a strap, Level 2 said no strap, magnetic attachment, she went that way because it looked better, and was refused entry until she put the bloody strap on.
