As far as the Helmet what version are we looking at for this?

If we get enough guys to jump in on a run on body armor from walts maybe he'd be inclined to make some quicker.
What about shoulder bells.

Looking at the card it looks like the belt needs to potential be reworked. Looks like a Han Solo type belt.

No problem. We had the same talk on the BF page.
Some guys were saying snowtroopers sent approved to carry DLT19s. I said BS.
Once your approved you can alter your kit as long as you can change it back for LFL events.
Our purpose is to wear plastic and make kids smile.
No one is putting Tigger in a detention center for carrying a blaster not on the CRL.
I'm here for fun.

Most troops are Non canon events. It's usually posted in troops if it's an LFL event and must be cannon.
The other %90 of your troops carry whatever weapon you want.

Picking up grey flight suit from Moncal tomorrow. They've confirmed they have several XL in stock.

Well it's the same grey suit as the atst. Moncal has them in stock so I'm gonna go visit them next week. I'm going to ask about helmets while I'm there too.

Grey is pretty ambiguous though. Battleship grey would be my thought.

Thanks. I have always wanted to do this kit too. I'm excited it's taking off and gaining traction.
I'm gonna look at ordering a basic snow commander armor from DL soon.
Figured a plain model would be perfect.

What kind of chest armor are we looking at?

Just do a snowtrooper like I do when it's 90 outside. And yes I wear a fleece duster.
I found that my black jump suit is just as hot as my snowie. Makes no sense.

MC still makes them. I was at his shop about a month ago and they had piles of them. %100 accurate and no alterations needed. It'll take a couple weeks for them to get back with you due to their ridiculous work load, but worth it and you don't have to rip and sew.

I also hear that having metal makes the boots soles last longer, is that true?
Very true, hobnails and heel irons have been in existence since Roman times so it has a 2000 year old proven track record. In 16 years of heavy WW2 reenacting I have never had to change out a sole.

Well, I tried. I got my boots from them and it wasn't that big of a deal.

I like the clicking noise jackboots make.

I have these same gloves.

Putting it in my snowie kit now so I don't forget.

He is a very busy guy and his shop is always busy building trimming and cutting. His museum is amazing.

I do. He might be a member of this forum but may not check it.
I might see his this coming weekend. What do you need? PM me

They look like good repops of west german jack boots. I'd go with them. But I know where to get cheaper versions of the real thing.
