  1. Not so good actually. It ended up being too short in the sleeves, too short in the body, too large in the chest, too large in the waist, and the center seam was way too high. I think it would fit somebody very well that was a little shorter and a little stouter than I. Some of the problems could be fixed by a tailor, but the body being too short and the waist line being too high cannot be corrected. Overall I'd say the quality was ok, but the fit is not. I sent them accurate measurements.

The breeches on the other hand are horrible. To me it looks like they sent me the breeches from the 'standard' uniform not the 'updated' uniform. The flares on the side are terrible, it looks like they just took a staight leg trouser pattern and added some material to the sides.

At this point I am either going to attempt to have a local tailor make me a good uniform or I am looking into having one made in the UK.

  2. What they don't tell you is the overall height of the boots goes up the bigger the size is. Mine for example measure almost 19" from the floor to the top of the boots. Also the sizing is slightly off, I wear a 11 1/2 or 12 US and the 45 fits well, but on the website they say it fits a 12 1/2.

  3. Ok, so I just put in my order tonight for the updated Imperial Officers uniform in black. For measurements I used the size chart from Schipperfabrik, a manufacturer of reproduction WW1 uniforms. I typed in all the size measurements in the private message box on the cosplaysky order page. I hope all these measurements result in a good uniform. Here is a link to the size chart I used: http://schipperfabrik.com/schipperfabrik_male_size_chart_en.pdf

  4. Those flight suits won't work. I am quite familiar with those as I own a military surplus store. The first suit you show is a commercially made copy of US military flight suits, they would take extensive modification in order to work for bridge crew. The fron zipper is exposed, the collar is completely wrong and there are tons of pockets and zippers in the wrong place.

The second suit you show could be modifed a little easier but they are made from fire resistant aramid, so if you try and dye it black it won't work, it will end up being a slightly darker shade of green than it already is.
