I've going through the same thing. I'm not an expert on the IC (yet), but I think that they are about six inches too short.

They definitely are addicting. I just got my 6th tattoo a few months ago. It was my first Star Wars one though. I have an Imperial cog embedded in a Polynesian / Filipino design. I really agree with Dave's comments. The artists reworked my last three designs to follow with my muscle lines. It does make a difference.
