And I'm imperator 14 with a clothears line officer uniform
Greenies always have variation as no manufacturer matches another or even a maker running out of cloth and the new batch being a little different.
You can see on here groups of greenies tend to be all shades.
I love my clothears it's much more a military uniform than a costume.

I had my glossy white tk called a sandtrooper
I had my sandtrooper called a snow trooper ( the little boy jumped in and corrected his mom at that point)
I had my tk called captain Rex ...
I had my friend in a shadow tk called Darth vader
I had my friend in a magma trooper called a red Darth vader (face palm). And an emperors guard.
I have only worn my officer once, but it was at a con and people knew what I was...everyone kept making vader motions and I had to go around choking . I ended up in the local paper correctly identified as an imperial officer as well. I figured I'd be called a nazi a lot but in that con people knew what I was at least.
Thankfully when I am in vader all I hear is darth vader Darth vader Darth vader....

Clothears rocks.
But it's expensive for us USA folks.
I really can't recommend cosplaysky.

I use a neck bag, and only carry the absolute essentials.

Got mine last week.

Thanks,
Here is an update with smaller flares:
More pics in my build thread.
Thanks all submitted for my 7th costume, fingers crossed.

Ok I did some more tailoring. Basically tightened it all up to not be loose and floppy.
I also completely redid the hat using my mur hat as a guide. I used a seam ripper to take out all the seams trimmed down to size everything and reswewed it. Not a fun project really.
I stiffened up the pants but now I am thinking the flares are a bit large. What do you think? Maybe trim the points back about 2 inches?
Here are the shots:
And my wife having some fun on the ipad...
So what'd a ya think? Good enough to submit or do I need to trim town thos wings and try again?

I can't imagine the "befores". This looks pretty good and as you note a few adjustments will make it look much better. If you take in the sleeves, just 1/2" should do it, I think.
LOL so the afters are so bad, the befores must have been unreal huh?
The good news is I redid the pants, and there is no longer bunching at the crotch, I plan on ironing in the sheer weight interfacing to stiffen the pants. I also took the tunic in about half an inch on the sides and it tightened it up nicely. I need to figure a way to shorten the sleeves that will not show the hem stitches.

as per the CRL:
For 501st approval:
- Knee-high, black, lace-less, non-textured, leather or leather-like material. Rubber is not acceptable.
For level two certification (if applicable):
-
Boots must not have a visible zipper.
For level three certification (if applicable):
-
Boots must be leather, not vinyl or PVC, and be exact replicas of English riding (dress) boots. Boots have conservative heels.
So pleather is allowed for basic, but for level three it has to be leather.
To me it looks like you might be looking at rubber boots, which will not pass for basic membership. The way the lining in them looks looks exactly like my rubbe rboots I use around the yard (wellies to you english types).
I could be wrong, but thats what it looks like to me.

Ok so I am still waiting for my Clothears Uniform (its not late, I was told an October delivery date).
But since I wanted to also do an AT AT commander build I wanted a less expensive uniform i could wear under the armor that I would not have to worry about getting messed up by the armor itself.
I got a Cosplaysky uniform but while it is actually fairly nice, and i gave them very accurate measurements the pants were way to big, and the tunic is slightly too large.
I have done nothing to the tunic as yet. My thoughts are to take in the seams on the sides a bit to tighten it up. I am not sure on the sleeve length. It seems a little long at rest, but when I bend my arms they pull up fairly a lot, so not sure I should shorten them at all.
The pants I turned from really loose wide legged trousers with wings to more of a bootcut pant/jodhoppur. I think I have the fit ok now, but I still need to sew on stirrups because the pants push up when you put on the boots. I also need to starch, put in interfacing to stiffen the pants. I also need to wear a belt as the waist of the pants are to large and sag, which causes a weird bunching at the crotch that is not there when the pants are pulled up.
Basically i followed this diagram (the dotted line for the inseam) to do the mod.
I am doing all these mods myself, and I am not an expert so any mods have to be simple. I think the cosplay uniform is actually a fairly good base, but it still needs work. The hat is ridiculous though, not sure what they are thinking there. This is my MR hat, the CP hat is about 2 times (im not kidding) as large as this. When I put it on the brim goes over my nose...lol.

I got an updated uniform from a member while waiting for my Clothears set.
I tried hiking them up, and it looks better, but they still need help. Mine are not so huge, but are positioned too low down, and hiking cant really get them where they need to go.
the good news is if they have huge flares its easy enough to reduce them, the bad news is they need to migrate up about 4-6 inches really.
I am going to have to try and lower the crotch which in theory should be feasable.
I tried to order an updated uniform with the correct measurements (clothears sends you a very detailed how to) and the pic attatched with how I wanted the pants done as well, which have supposedly shipped so we will see how they look.
The uniform I got from the member here actually fits me well I think, but I had ordered the new one prior to finding his sales thread. Figure it can never hurt to have to many soft parts. and they are so cheap I took the chance.

how much extra fabric is needed for the hat?
They sell it at 25.00 a meter. thier hat only costs 18.oo though lol. does that mean that one meter is enough?
I am thinking of getting the olive uniform (they do it in the new style) as a sort of back up, preliminary approval, under the armor (not sure if veers armor would pick the fabric. would suck to pull off the armor to a ruined uniform) thing while waiting for Clothears to do my high level uniform.

Ahh thanks!

I might! Nasty rebels....
Mainly was wondering about the line trim. One is smooth and one has the lines on the back of the hand. Or does it not matter? Just black leather wrist length gloves?

What boots are those?
I need to get a pair and there seems to be an abundance of zippered but not so much slip on.
Clothears Piett?

Just make sure you stress no visible stitching on the tunic. My cosplaysky had external stitching on parts of it.
