Let's start with the Left pocket. Pin the 2 pieces together and sew just like everything else.
Once you have the pieces sewn and reinforced, it is time to press. Press the seam flat, I prefer to start with the side that has the Interfacing on it, just to get it out of the way. Once the seam is flat, I use more heat bonding seam tape. On to the other side. I press that flat and more seam tape.
I fold the back piece in half (about where the interfacing ends) and match up the sides. Press that flat and voila. The pocket is done.
I tend to pin the sides together and use a zigzag stitch to make it one piece.
So a few of our from the Garrison dropped by for a visit with Declan and to drop off some early Christmas gifts. As soon as his mother told him that we were on our way he perked up!!! It was an amazing experience to be able to such joy, even if it was only for a short time.
He mentioned how he loved the photos that everyone has sent him. (Thank you guys!!) We even had him laughing and giggling. We all left that room with a warm feeling in our hearts.

Hi Declan,
I had the pleasure of meeting you on my first rotation on Earth a few months ago. My name is ID-10701 and as you might have noticed I do not use the “TK” in front of my numbers and that is because I am an Imperial Staff Officer. My friends and squad mates call me “Sal” which was the name of our pet fish that we had at our Barracks - that is the building that we lived in while I was studying at the Galactic Academy: Imperial Officer Corps. It truly is a wonderful place full of some of the Galaxies brightest minds.
My first assignment was in the 822nd Imperial Medical Corp and became a Imperial Medic, which is like a Paramedic on Earth, but now that the 2-1B droids do most of the work, I end up just doing a lot of paperwork... until the day that I met Lord Vader, about 4 years ago. He noticed that I was really good at drawing and have great math skills. Do you like to draw? What’s your favourite colour? Mine is forest Green, which reminds me of Endor.
Well, since then I have been assigned to work with the Stormtrooper Corps, which has been a lot of fun, but don’t tell anyone!
I hear that you want to become a Stormtrooper and you have had your number assigned already... TK-11/YoshiTrooper... That is a wonderful number and name! I do have to say that when I first met you I thought to myself that you would make a wonderful Stormtrooper.
I have sent you a few photos of me working hard at our secret base...don’t tell anyone. Right now they have me working nights, but I have lots of Hot Chocolate to keep me up so it’s just fine... I have a few Lord Vader toys that I have collected and my special Lord Vader mug that he gave me for my birthday last year. Believe it or not, Lord Vader is a great boss!! Sometimes when it’s quiet here at work, I pretend I’m a Jedi and I have a lightsaber battle with my mini Lord Vader (he wins every-time!).
Oh... I’m receiving a Security Transmission - Classified Level 4 form Ellan Base (IM-455FC341), Lothal, Outer Rim Territories. I have a few TK’s on patrol there.
