Hi Brian! just to let you know I got a reply from sewing jenny saying to go ahead and try shrinking using the washing machine. But unfortunately I have tried this twice and also the tumble dryer on the hottest setting to no avail. In the end I opened up the liner inside and sewed elastic around the rim enough to draw it in a little and then sew up agin and it fits perfect. Gd luck x

That was my intial thought too, just to try shrinking it. But not sure if will come out still as stiff, so I emailed sewing jenny to ask. I'm just waiting on a reply. Mines not so bad when I put my long hair underneath, but could still do with being a bit tighter. I'll let you know if I get a reply x

Hat arrived this week great. But its a little on the large side. Any ideas on how to take the size down a bit. X

Thanks everyone, but good news just got notified that it's been posted on 25th October so just need to wait till makes it way over here to uk. I'm so excited now. It's like the topping on the cake, was just waiting on hat.

Hi all can anyone tell me if Sewing Jenny is still in business?
Getting a wee bit anxious as there's an event coming up at the beginning of November and the cap is all I'm waiting on for clearance.
I placed an order with them about 4 weeks ago and have tried emailing twice for an ETA on the delivery, but have never had a reply. I just want to know if the cap is going to arrive in time!
