July 2000 I first met (well, was arrested by) the UK Garrison who had a couple of months earlier joined the 501st officially. Yes, I wanted to be a stormtrooper! I did nothing about this until May 2005 when I was also at the ROTS Premiere, probably stood next to Dave! So of course, what did I do... I promptly formed the Rebel Legion UK Base hehe! Costuming, charity and community to fill the then rebel void there was. That was my passion to join, both then and now.
The circle was however completed in 2011 when I cleared my TK. I guess that was a long build time...! Still love both Legion's

I've read this thread with interest and it's a great build but if there's doubt that Hask should get a unique CRL, then as others have pointed out, hes a cutscene character with dialogue and a main character in the game - does anyone else in the 501st actually even have a costume like this? I thought a costume was needed before adding to a CRL.... every journey has a beginning... and the challenges making a real life costume of a game version look to have been overcome. We can dwell on some things waaaaaay too much. Let's get to work... for the Empire!

I spoke to my contact and they will provide technical sketches for review. With their permission I will share them with people here.
I am curious if anyone can find a Belgian Army Motorcycle trench coat. I would buy it if I could and send it to them to reverse engineer it.
Barring that, just to get to look at one, take photos and document it would be a valuable resource. We are looking on our own, but if anyone can help with that, it would be greatly appreciated. All I came up with from Fleabay was this....?

Question for all candidates ; How will you ensure that high standards are consistently maintained at the 501st for IOC applicants and that they are guided appropriately when GML approvals can often be variable at Garrison level? In short, how will you keep the local systems in line?

I used an officer belt with buckle for the ab plate myself.

I had to clear my line officer first with IOC to ensure it met the CRL, then went on to add the AT-AT Commander armour to that CRL spec and cleared with ACD. But the spec was basically the line officer CRL, plus the AT-AT Commander armour (unless I missed something?).
It would be nice to be part of IOC with the armour too, but Im guessing its too much crossover and by placing it at ACD it becomes definitive.
Hmmm. Good question.

Tried that, not many people responding tbh...

Back to duties then....standing by.... Sir!

There are some sole grips on ebay which appear tiny but Ive found work really well! I had the same problem with my Soviets which were leather soles. For 99p Id suggest giving them a go. They literally just stick on, adhesive backed.

To put an end to it at my workplace I wore my TK to do a half marathon run for charity, supported by the company. I kitted up in the disabled toilet... to a big reveal! Everyone THEN wanted photos... even the Chief Executive holding my blaster! People now understand, especially as they saw the pinch marks on my skin after the run... in full kit. When TFA was out a lot of people genuinely asked where I was heading and which charities I was supporting so I guess now they understand the connection....

He's stood next to Phasma when Hux does his speech. He is 6ft 1 and they still had him standing on a box to reach Phasma's height!!
