  1. When I met with Rony Bridges recently, or Admiral Bridges as JJ had called him, he said that the band around his arm had no aurebesh at all on it, just lines in the same style as the first order patch with the reds and silvers. He wasn't aware of the aurebesh on others.

We had a laugh chatting about his experiences and he said that every piece of his costume was microchipped ... no one walked. off that set with anything this time.

He talked about his hair being styled in a brand and not being able to leave set without it being altered.

Boy. It sounded like one hell of a trip!

  2. Totally agree with that Matt, I've just got a pair of these .... the only issue is stiffness around the ankle for me. They fit like a dream, comfortable. I take UK size 11,went for UK size 11.5. Glad I did, much better fit and gave a little more stretch around my calf. Boots arrived in a week. Gonna get them shined up nice now. Kris suggested using a boot pull to raise them as high as possible and increase the tension so I'm gonna try that.

  3. I carry mine in a sports bag, boots and soft parts. CPS costume does not easily crease thankfully! Might depend on costume maker I guess.

The thing I want to know is how everyone transports their cap please - in a box or folded....???? My peak has been creased occasionally and the OCD in me kills me to know theres a crease there!

    Cheers.

  4. I was looking at these too....!

Without the strap would of course be good for clearance, looks like the cut and insertion is at the rear of the boot.

I am bidding on a pair on Fleabay at the moment, different seller, but calf is up to 16.5' which is OK for me.

Interested to know if anyone actually has a pair of these?

  5. Have you met any of the actors from the movies who played the parts we costume at events you attend? Id love to see your pictures if you have, always good to show that there is continued love for the Empire and the costume.

I met with Imperial Officer actors from the Saga at the weekend at the For the Love of the Force event in Manchester, UK....proud to show off my IOC costume to Alan Flyng and Paul Markham who loved it.

  6. Ive had a pair similar to these previously for another costume and if they are the same, then the leather tends to 'bunch' at the bottom of the boot in a kind of ripple after a while of use, so they dont retain a rigid appearance unlike riding boots generally do for an officer. If not for an officer costumer then....? (not my area, sorry, dont know what they'd expect)
