I'm still thinking of getting both uniforms plus a rebel fleet trooper, so if there's a silver lining it's that I'll have basically forever to scare up the other parts.

So if I'm going for the Clothears line officer, which I think includes the jacket, jodhpurs, hat with code disc and belt with buckle and code disc. I'm working on the rank bar. So that leaves the boots and code cylinders. Is there a supplier of these two items in a level of quality matching that of the Clothears? For TK's there's TKBoots. I wondered if there was a first-choice for IOC builds. I don't want to spend $200 on boots if I don't have to but I do need them to meet level three requirements and not hurt to troop in for long hours.

Yeah now I see this at the bottom of your Cosplaysky post: "Also, please take note that if you are getting the olive-green uniform, ask them for additional material to create (or have someone create) your hat. Cosplaysky hats are not recommended and their belts are not approvable. " Oh well.

You can go with cosplaysky and then ask for extra material so you can have the hat made.
Cosplaysky does offer a black imperial officer hat. is that one no good? I'm considering a black Staff Officer uniform from them while I wait for the Clothears Piett.

I've got my heart set on the Clothears, but in case I simply cannot muster the galactic credits for it, is there a clear second choice for getting a uniform tailored with jacket/jodhpurs/hat together (for color match) that would meet level three?

Excellent news sir, and thanks very much. I was admiring your costume there and thought it might be Piett but then I saw your signature and I'm not sure who #7 on Executor was. At any rate I look forward to applying to the IOC with a top notch uniform.

I have a question that I hope you can answer.
I am shopping for a 2nd costume with greater mobility for times when my armor is out of repair and just to allow me to squire for garrison mates without the need to forego a costume.
I have set level three certification as a goal, and I understand that requires picking a canon character, so I'm thinking Admiral Piett.
Being somewhat colorblind I just want to confirm a few things.
First, I want to make sure that Piett's uniform is indeed the olive drab Line Officer variant, and secondly I need to determine if Clothears' Imperial Officer Costume will qualify for level three and that the "olive gray gabardine" they offer is going to be suitable for the line officer and Piett in particular, as they seem to offer it only in that or black.
Another question is whether anyone is doing rank bars with push buttons, or if the plexiglass squares are going to be my only option.
Thanks in advance for your advice.
