    I've read all the canon books now and haven't enjoyed a lot of them.


    Heir to the jedi was a struggle to get into but I really enjoyed it; a lot of that came from the firs person narrative.

    Lost stars was like twilight in space and I was recommended it and told to keep going. I stopped just before it got good and then kept going and really liked.

    Tarkin was great. Tarkin is my boy though and I'd happily read anything about him.

    Catalyst was super good. I haven't read rogue one yet so am hoping it's as good...

    I couldn't do life debt, aftermath was a struggle and it kept going and I gave up. Same with the battle front book....

    Once it stops being twilight in star wars universe and the whole teenage angst passes it's a good read. I was recommended it and even then needed repeated encouragement to push through the lovey dovey crap.

    Once that happened it was a good read and good insight into the post Death Star II empire
