Interested to see what JJ and Disney can do but i'm not overly optimistic. I wanna see some teaser footage at Celebration at least to help me see how it's going to look.

Okay, right on. Do we have kind of an official, simple chart that includes ANH style single bar "garrison" ranks and ESB/Fleet style double bar ranks? Thanks

Interesting read. It reminds me of stuff on Huff post though, kind of cranked out with lots of typos. The comments also get pretty out there....lol

So i've been looking and there are already several threads on this topic, but none that mention the organization referenced back in the day at theforce.net. I bumped into this after not seeing it since the 90's, and as we all know rank structure is conjecture and a wish to organize what a bunch of writers, prop guys, and directors cobbled together in the original triology with little consistency. However, this link seems to have a system that includes single bar ANH ranks mixed in with ESB style stacked ranks in a way that at least makes some mathematical sense. It was put together by the Technical Commentary guys and at least when you put on a uniform with a rank bar you have some idea what to call yourself based on characters in canon and EU sources. He is an older trooper, he is probably supposed to have some Pre-Empire Republic style equipment. Alot of the Rebels in ANH have stripes on the pants. The headphones are great, newer noticed this guy before.

I had the same problem. I switched to military clutch back pins and your rank bar doesn't move and looks professional. I was having to use such a big magnet that the rank bar stuck out from the uniform

Just tried looking at Cosplaysky.com and got an error. Even tried from the coupon mailer in my Yahoo box. Maybe they have too much traffic from that? Anybody order from them today?
