Now I'm thinking about those. They look pretty good. It appears that they come in various sizes.

It's pretty ironic that this post came up. When I became interested in joining the 501st as an officer a few months ago, my wife and I spoke about the uniforms and came to that conclusion. If you look at the German military uniforms from WW 2, there are some obvious similarities, especially with the boots and pants.
I have no intention of igniting a huge debate, etc but if you look at the uniforms and the original trilogy, it's pretty obvious that there are remarkable similarities to Germany from the 1930's-1940's. The dictatorship, ruthlessness, and overwhelming presence are prevalent.

I saw this on Facebook earlier tonight and couldn't stop laughing. My wife and kids read it and were all laughing about it.

Right now, unfortunately I am on extremely limited funds. My intent is to get my foot in the door and do upgrades as I can afford them.

Hello all,
We are currently shopping for men's riding boots for a decent price (under $200 for affordability and for approval). I found this pair but I need to know if they will work before I drop down the $$$ for them.
Any help is greatly appreciated. If these are approved, then it's a good bet that I will have a completed uniform (black) by around April.
The second set of boots shown are made with some kind of a PVC. Would these work for approval?

I don't think that is entirely true. Look at some of the Jedi in the various movies. Alec Guiness, Liam Neeson, and Ewan McGregor have the British accent and are good guys.
