    Hey, anyone else obsessing over Krennic's gorgeous cape may want to check out this Flickr album. It's full of fantastic high res shots showing seams, overlaps, and every detail they could get pictures of from the celebration display!

    Yeah , the trench-coat coat are really a nice addition . It seems logical as well that some Officers are wearing them if the weather isn't always great on a certain planet , but in the OT all of them were either on the Death Star or Star Destroyers so no need for any additional field equipment .

    Looks to me like it was loosely based on the rubber trench-coat used by German motorized infantry during WW2 . And loosely is sort of an understatement here ...

    Can we just add a cape as an approved 'add on' for any Officer? I'm sure they had them, it was just back in the closet in their quarters. Who's with me??

    Their riding boots will take you all the way to Imperator level and they're very well made.

    I agree, pointing or fist pumping always seems to get the job done

    I either do the fist pose like this one, pointing forward, or hands behind my back. One side effect that my wife caught me in last week is that I've started unconsciously defaulting to these poses for any pictures. Not always the best look for your happy family pic!

    As someone who troops as both a TK and an officer, I would probably say that wont be too feasible.  You could certainly carry the small officer pieces (belt, rank, cylinders) in the 50gal bin, but there wont be any room for boots and the uniform.  And as John said, you would probably get major wrinkles in the uniform if you tried.

    Here are pics of my bin (pardon my messy floor );

    Has a pull out handle and wheels on the other end for pulling.

    Inside.

    On the left, my boots are packed upright and my hat is on top. On the right is the bag that contains my gunner helmet (laying on its side). Side pouches in the bag hold gloves, compad, and a stick of deodorant. Underneath the bag is the gunner bib and belt. Underneath those is the flight suit, folded neatly in a flat square. Soon to join them is a Hyperfirm E-11. Not sure how feasible this is for an officer uniform as it might be more prone to wrinkling. I like that I can keep everything handy in one permanent place. I think it'll also make it easier to swap out my IG gear for IC.

    I need more stickers

    It's also strong enough for me to sit on, although I would use a chair if available. I checked these online and saw them (same brand, Sterilite) going for $40+, so I can't believe I found one for $20! If it falls apart in a year, I won't feel so sad.

    Like I said, only thing I would worry about is the uniform getting wrinkled or creased, depending on the material used to make it. Although, I've seen pics of Cosplay Sky uniforms come halfway around the world all bundled up in a package and look pretty passable out of the box. Worst case, you can maybe attach the garmet bag (or a light one suiter) to the top of your bin so that it lays flat along the top as you tote it. Boots, hat, belt, etc. should probably fit in the bin with some "Tetris".

    I keep mine in my bin.  I place my rolled-up belt in the cap and then lay it in the bin upside down (laying down on the top side of the cap).  As the belt unrolls itself, it will push against the sides of the cap and help kinda keep it in a circular shape.  You could accomplish the same thing using a small box and put it in your sports bag.  Of all the pieces of an officer, the cap is probably the one that needs to be protected the most.  As you have experienced, if you get any major creases or crumpling on the cap, it is hard to correct it.  And frankly, you want to have the cap look as crisp and straight as possible.

    Hmmm, that high slit in the posterior would certainly make it easy for an officer to 'take care of business' when there's no place to hang the coat.

    Just saw some pictures of his black series 6 inch figure (which will now forever be "Buddy Hux" in my mind) and there are a couple of interesting things. He's carrying an all black version of the officer pistol we've seen with the stormtroopers.

    And also the first shot I've seen of the back of his overcoat with any deal detail to it. Looks like some interesting layers here and it really makes me wish for some good pictures of the actual costume showing some of these parts.

    Thank you!  My rank bar has been moving and driving me crazy.  Been looking for replacement magnets, so I don't have to keep staring down: "Did it move... again..."
