Paggeldiwwer got a reaction from Tutanchseth in Admiral Versio - Battlefront 2
The uniform of Admiral Versio appears completely different to what we know to be an ISB-tunic. Even though some Details match, some other differ quite a lot.
On the front, the right side of double breasts upper edge ends a few more centimeters lower than on an ISB-tunic. And of course there are code-cylinder-pockets.
The Admirals rankbar has of course nothing to do with the well known ISB-Major-Rankbar. The hats front bill has five stitches (they have just met the CRL - lucky game-Designers ). And the notch? Yeah, just give a it turn to 6 o'clock - maybe Versio is in deep grief about the Emperors death.
Concerning the collar it looks like there is no modesty Panel. The Clips of the code-cylinders have nothing to do with the classic ones we usually wear. Unless they tried to replicate the way Tarkin used his Clips by only hooking the cylinders up on the small upper hook.
On his back we can see the princess-seams (it's curve is way more tightend than we know it) and an additional center-seam in the middle. I do not know yet, if I like that...
Once again we get reminded, that game Designers and Animators do not have a good sense for real-life-tailoring
But let's see what we can construct from these Basics Hopefully a new CRL, maybe?

Paggeldiwwer reacted to Angelus in Line/Staff Officer Addition Request: Rain - Trenchcoat
The pattern for it, you can base off on some female fashion may know at least.
Fabric have to be a waterproof fabric. But the collar to be valvet will be weird, As Valet and waterproof will give a very big differents in texture.. If you do see the Olive coat that the officer wear, it really do not look like it is valvet.
And given the fact that this costume is a background outfit to show there are officers (that have a live beside the ship or the ball), The studio will not/ may not give a high budget for it.

That really looks great. Congratulations on that progress.
As far as Ellen an I could see it in the pictures, the inner part ot the collar seems to be lined with a different fabric than the rest. It appears to be a little matte. So maybe they used something with wool or valvet for this.
Concerning the fabric for the outer coat: I ordered a coat from ebay some time ago. It was stinking to the death and did not match the pattern of the movie-coat by far. I am afraid it was a similar one as shown in the links above. So keep your hands of that stuff =D
The main material appears to be closer to the fabic of the raincape, even though it might be a little stiffer or thicker.

Paggeldiwwer got a reaction from buckrogersbarker in Gabardine sourcing question...
Yes, I am here. Even though Antje Walzel an I have not yet offered the fabric here. But if the IOC allows this kind of order (collective pre-paid-order) we could start this here too.

Paggeldiwwer reacted to Steven in Gabardine sourcing question...
In my Garrison we are three future Line Officers who ordered fabric at the run of the German Garrison. The more we are, the cheaper the fabric costs will be. As far as I know Marc (he got just awarded for 25 troops) here at the forum is the man to talk with.

It appears, this is the only way to make sure, that Dark Lord does not act ... well ... unleashed

After a great weekend in the german Legoland, I am reporting in again with some nice new Pictures.
I was accomapnied by two absolutley loyal TK's who protected me by the risk of their own life:
I was happy enough to meet this Lady once again:
A nice meet&greet with an Admiral from a competing fleet took place:
One of our elite-TIE-pilots sent Lord Vader and me up to the skies and back again:
I trtied to keep relaxed thoughout hte whole weekend:
Even when I met with people who let off some steam:
So what shall I say in the end? Once again I experienced that life is like a roller-coaster

Since I was approved with my Grand Moff Tarkin Costume, I am very interested in finding the other five holders of this costumes worldwide.
I recently found Bob Herron on Facebook. And I know about Massimo Faggi in Italy - even though we have not communicated yet.
I would love to read about the other Tarkin's here. My plan is, to arrange a meeting one day at a convention (perhaps London 2016) for some nice conversation, maybe a glass of champagne and a group-photo of course.
I hope to read from you guys soon.
Here is just a little impression of our recent German Garrison-Event at Legoland last weekend:

Paggeldiwwer got a reaction from bjsavage7 in Peter cushing and slippers
Since I had a couple of painful experiences while trooping , I would appreciate these slippers to be on the CRL as well. It very much looks like they are "canon" indeed
