Everybody who got his Tarkin approved is invited to join our new facebook-group "The 501st Tarkins": https://www.facebook.com/groups/860181760734789/?fref=ts
This is strictly for Tarkins of course. Just look for "Marc TK Tarkin" on Facebook and drop me a line ...

Paggeldiwwer got a reaction from Hask in Fellow Tarkin's
@Bob: Indeed the hair war my greatest challenge (besides sewing my own uniform). I was forced to let it grow a little longer than I am used to. And I used a lot of gel for it. But it has worked out for me.
@Sebastian: I am nearly 37 years old and needed to get some grey and white color into my hair. The best way to look a little older: get yourselves some children - that's working best in my experience  No, to be serious, I just made some experiments on my face with FX-Makeup but it looked ridicolous. Then my wife told me, just to darken the area underneath the cheekbones a little and then paling down the face with a bit of powder - and what should I say: she was right about that. And the Makeup made that way even survived 35° C last weekend in Legoland Germany.

Thank you Daniel and thank you Bob for dropping some lines here. And I am very happy we come together here all over the world. One Tarkin was close to knock down the rebellion. Imagine what a group of us might be able to do ... ☺
I guess I missed to introduce myself personally the way all of you did so kindly.
My name is Marc Hense, I am 37 years old and I live in Frankfurt am Main/Germany. I have joined the 501st as a stormtrooper in January 2015. A fellow trooper told me that due to my face I should think about adding a Tarkin-Costume to my wardrobe. I followed his suggestion and got Tarkin approved in April this year.
@Bob: you can upload photos with www.photobucket.com or similar services. You need to register for free and get some Megabytes to upload pictures there. Each picture you will upload has a link, which you can copy and paste into your text here. Than the picture will appear in the text. It took me some tests until I figured it out but it works great after all.

Sadly all that we can do, is keeping their legacy alive!

Since I was approved with my Grand Moff Tarkin Costume, I am very interested in finding the other five holders of this costumes worldwide.
I recently found Bob Herron on Facebook. And I know about Massimo Faggi in Italy - even though we have not communicated yet.
I would love to read about the other Tarkin's here. My plan is, to arrange a meeting one day at a convention (perhaps London 2016) for some nice conversation, maybe a glass of champagne and a group-photo of course.
I hope to read from you guys soon.
Here is just a little impression of our recent German Garrison-Event at Legoland last weekend:

Team,
Sir Christopher Lee just passed away and joined the Force.

He did it all, to include military service in WWII.
May we all live so well and such a full life.
