I've had the problem with bloody rubbed ankles. On my last troop i tried two pair oft socks  instead of one. Went perfect, no hurt ankles anymore.

• If zippers are present, they are hidden on the inner part of the boot shaft.
  • Not visible from the front, side or back.

As they are on the back, i do not think the could get approved... even they are leather. But the decicion does your GML, so you should ask them.

I understand what you mean, Alex... saame here. Haven´t got my helmet yet ready, but i´m thinking about the next one... AT-ST. And these are my really first attempts on something like this.

 

Codecylinders... there is a really good description in the German Garrison Forum about "refurbishing" Dosimeters from the "Bundeswehr" to really good looking codecylinders. Perhaps something you can try.

I can only speak for my jumpsuit oft my TIE. This is from cosplaysky and got approved (even with those terryfying cogs). So it should not be a problem.

What i´ve learned: just try! And take your time. Don´t get disappointed if it doesn´t work the first time, give yourselve also a second chance. 

At the moment i´m trying to build up a Navy Trooper Helmet from scratch... the first one got too peakish.  So... second try. Hope my GMO is more satisfied now.

BJ and Hawk are right. I´ve learned it the same way. A cheap hat does not look good and will probably not get approved. Better take some more money for a goog hat that fits. My first one was from cosplaysky... terrible.
