[Who is going, what days, and staying where?]

I'll be there April 10-15, staying at Sheraton Grand.  This will be my first Celebration/major Con.  Definitely hoping to make some new 501st friends.

I finally got around to working on my costume's shortfalls.  Trooping in it has also given me a little insight into those improvements, too.

 

I added the extra row of stitching to the cap's brim.

 

I narrowed down the source of the problem at my neck.  I added zipper stops to keep the zipper from coming off and allowing me to pull it all the way up without worrying about pulling it off the track.  I also replaced the missing pull-tab so it is easier to pull and hopefully will stay in place better.

 

 

Finally, I added Velcro to the belt and belt line as suggested in this forum (thank you , whoever you are). 

 

I am still ruminating how best to correct the placement of the left shoulder cog and whether I want to re-dye the jumpsuit so it is super-black.  I think the billowing of the sleeves was due to the way I put on the gloves so I think that I may be able mitigate that without re-tailoring.
