I like them both, I think I may just go somewhere in between.

I prefer the look of it left ! But it is just my opinion ! Alot of people will prefer accuracy. It is a matter of choice.

I would imagine as a face character who clearly has a unique rank bar that people should match the available reference for the character rather than standards for a film officer.

Which brings up my pet peeve for this issue.  We only ever see one "AT-AT Commander" in the movies, General Veers, yet the 501st CRL is for a generic "AT-AT Commander" and not General Veers as a face character.  If the only ISB agent we see is Kallus and CRL reflects it as a face character then it stands to reason that the AT-AT Commander should be General Veers as a face character since he's the only AT-AT Commander we see.  OR vice versa.

Sorry for the rant.  My mind craves consistency.  You can imagine my feelings on Imperial Military Rank Insignia.

Yea that's what we decided to do with EVA foam. Started on those today actually. This is my first "prototype" as I had to really determine the fit. This one works but the back is nasty.

I spoke with BJ about the boots and this is fine to do. There's no way around having a seam line so placing it along the inside of the boots is what we need to do.

Gonna refine the shape but I feel that the lower part where the boot sticks out is pretty close...

Way to go Bang Bang:) little fuzzy on the boots, there was some talk of matching the Combat Drivers leg armor, but less pronounced, although I do love tubaChris's build!!!

Remember, A face character is a face character. This is for Kallus, not a regular ISB with a similar uniform, which we never see.

Thanks Chris!! So as it stands he's the only SWAT type ISB agent seen so far, so he probably should be as close as possible to the show. Take the emperor for example, most of us can't pass the force disfigured face, prosthetics ( fake chops) or say bald man...( tupe) it can be done and I think that is part of the spirit of the 501st to take that challenge on make it Kallus..
Maybe it would be possible to mimic the FISD, 3 levels of accuracy... So lvl one Kallus wears his bucket at all times. Tier 2, chops hair style..tier 3 holy crap!!! It's Kallus...
Sorry if I rambled... Just very interested to see how this character is incorporated into the legion.
..oh and 6'7" ?!!! Wow that is one BIG JAWA!!!

I'd very much like to see this become it's own class of officer, but I fear that it may be the only version we see. Maybe if Kallus sticks around for the long term they may do a throwback episode about his personal past, and we'll potentially see other Agents (or they'll introduce another one)

The LMO's pretty much agreed already that the helmet is to be considered optional, so as we have requirements for Dooku and Juno Eclipse, it's more than likely facial hair and regular hair reqs will be around for Kallus. There's always a work around for some things as you mention about the emporer.

Hi guys, that was my build I did for a local. The color I chose to use was a Gun Metal, as I felt that was more or less a closer shade to what is used for the in-show character. The other half to choosing that is that the duplicolor gun metal, when sprayed, gave off a similar appearance in the "spottyness" of the reference, in that the paint isn't entirely solid, but mimics that animated style.

Not sure if that all made sense though.

As for the helmet, yes, it's way too big, but had to work with what I had, so i closed the visor up to make it more accurate, and trimmed a little off the bottom to make it overall "fit better" if that makes any sense. I am looking to have a 3d model produced and printed though in the future...

My kit came in a couple days a go. Fiernock should be putting out a tutorial on assembly soon. Here is how the kit comes. It's sanded and ready for paint out of the box:
