I'm working on this costume by modifying an approved ISB officer uniform. Looking forward to seeing the CRL, and tweaking what I have already.

I don't know.
maybe it's just the big wish of us all that these movies (TFA, TLJ) are better than they are what makes us go see it 2,3,4 times.
Hoping everytime we see it again that the bad scenes and bad writing of some particular scenes would get better after the 20th time seeing it.
The Skywalker story should be in the main focus because that's what it's all about in the 9 Episodes according to George Lucas.
It's about the Skywalker family but they did come up with so many things which had nothing to do with the actual storyline.
I know the Movie has cool battlescenes and some spaceship charm and i also know that they had to come up with some new stuff to keep it interesting for all the kids but, mäh, I don't know. It is really a matter of taste but I miss the Star Wars feeling that the OT is known for in the new movies.
A good friend of mine once said:" If you can switch off of your brain so that you can't notice all the small mistakes in the movie which are not fitting to the previous movies, then you are able to fully enjoy every second of the new movies."
I agree with that. Don't get me wrong.
The TLJ was a well made movie but as I said, the Star Wars feeling is missing even with all the necessary criteria it met for a Prequel/Original/Sequel Trilogy movie as Gary said.
But it's good to see that some enjoy the movie anyway and everyone has an own opinion
 
 
 
 
 

Definitely middle of the road movie for me, just a little better than the prequels. There were some good scenes, but overall I felt it as a poorly made film, which could of done so much more. C+

I personally thought it was a bit more on the boring side, and mildly underwhelming. I would honestly say it is only better than episodes 1 and 2.

What are your all's opinions on it? Keeping it spoiler free of course! 

Definitely a  middle of the road film. It had it's parts. The scenes with luke are great.  I liked rose. I found her to be believable and interesting. Did not care for the whole leia in space scene . Unless I really missed something, i did not get the point of it. The thing I didn't like the most (which carries over from tfa.) Is the fighting between kylo and hux . The first order is doomed with these two in charge. Sure there was alot of backstabbing in the original empire ,but at least it was done with a sense of professionalism and dignity. 

I thought that weve waited years and years to see what kind of beast Luke Skywalker would become after Return of the Jedi. I as well Hamill feel that what Rian Johnson did with Lukes character was just wrong. He made Luke a dirty hobo for the whole movie. I loved how we saw that Leia developed her relationship with the force over the decades. Though Im not really crazy about the fact that the only original character that hasnt been killed off is no longer with us. I just wasnt happy really happy with the overall film though there were some cool things in it

I'm glad to see this discussion happening. I started putting together a Krennic costume right after the trailer came out, and have been refining it ever since. I agree with the draft CRL written on the first post. I'm sure this will be refined as more trailers and the film is released. Here is a picture of me at the Star Wars exhibit from San Diego Comic-Con yesterday. My costume is based the ISB tunic, and will need to be modified. The cape is an ongoing work in progress. I'm thinking about starting a build thread on the Imperial Officers forum, unless anyone can think of a better place to put it?

Thanks for the feedback. I've been working to make it as accurate a possible, based on available reference pictures. I'll keep watching the boards.

DUDE!  You went from a 2XL to a medium and you lost "some" weight?  That's bloody amazing!

I would say you should just buy a new one - you alter that 2xl enough to fit you and it probably wouldn't pass CRL anymore.
