what size is it
I didn't measure it, but it was a pretty average sized hat. It didn't have any label inside to indicate a size.
-
The buckle looks really nice. I passed on the hats because they looked cheap (the batch they had at the time) and since they only have the one size, it wouldn't find my big head.
-
IIRC 25-30 bucks.

I asked this a couple weeks ago, here's the thread: http://www.imperialofficer.com/forum/index.php?/topic/5656-launch-bay-question/
Hope this helps!

Cool, thanks for the clarifications everybody!!
-
Tiggie's belts work just fine.
Just to be clear; even with the optional grooves?
-
I have seen several places have slight grooves in the belt (such as Tigg-Wolf's: http://www.imperialofficer.com/forum/index.php?/topic/2698-imperial-belts-by-tigg-wolf-creations/)but the CRL states that it is non-textured. I skimmed around but couldn't find anything definitive. I'm aiming to get L2. Is there a consensus on this groove? Thanks!

I believe so. I'm going back on... Sunday? I think. I'll report back what I find.
EDIT: I saw no indication that they are Anovos. They didn't appear to have sizes, and the tag inside just said "Disney Parks" and "Star Wars" Hope that helps!

Cool, that's all the confirmation I need that they work. thanks a million!!

Those are the ones I keep seeing, but the specs say they're 18x24 mm. Maybe that's the dimensions of the actual button itself that these go into?
-
General Information:
-
The general consensus for push-button rank bars is that EAO brand lens covers should be used.
- There are other brands out there, but I'll focus on EAO here.
-
For Original Trilogy (OT) and current CRL standard sizing, the 01-901 series (.2 for red and .6 for blue) are the ideal button for use.
- NOTE: AMBER IS DIFFERENT, it's part number is 01-982.4. When ordering, you are looking for transparent, not translucent.
- For the larger, Rogue One style buttons, the current consensus is that the buttons are EAO's 31-903 series
Verified Suppliers:
Here are some links for the three lenses so you don't have to go sifting through the thread:

Blue:
Red:
Amber (I cannot vouch for these personally, but Kman says they're all good):

Couple notes:
Red/Blue:
- The dimensions as listed sound too big, but they are the correct size for the rank bars. My guess is that they dimensions cited are for the switch assembly itself that these go into.
- Newark expects you to be a company; they are an industrial supplier. When setting up my account, I basically said I am self-employed. I don't seem to remember having an issue with purchase (PO) order numbers, but if they really push you, just make something up.
Amber:
- Ignore that they say square. Kman is quoted on pg 2 as saying he and others have ordered this switch cover
Hey, sorry if this has been answered somewhere, but I was wondering where I could find accurately sized push button lenses to make my rank bar. I am finding a boat-load of EAO 18x24 mm, but nothing the size called for in the CRL (12.7x19 mm). I did a brief look around the forum, but couldn't find a source.Any thoughts on where I can look? I'm trying to scratch-build as much as possible (plus I don't like Pay-Pal), so I'd rather not order a bar if I can help it.Thanks! -

Cool, thanks for the insight folks!

Small world! I am really tempted to buy the hat just for the disk and make my own using the material I use for the tunic if I go the line route. I meant to take pictures, but it was so crowded at the time I couldn't easily.
I ran into the old style hat later in the day at one of the other shops, and jeeze is it bad looking. I made better disks using a late at work a few years back.

Hey everyone. Sorry if this has been asked somewhere before, but I didn't see anything after a brief scan. If it has been answered, just point me in the right direction and I'll be on my way .
I'm down in Orlando for my honeymoon and I've taken a look at the hat and belt buckle that Disney has at their new Launch Bay area of Disneyworld. They seem to be pretty accurate, and the device on the hat even has the notch. I'm thinking of buying them, but being new I wanted to ask people whom know better haha.
Thanks!

There is a companion app to My Disney Experience that you can (supposedly) order merch and they'll hold it, send it to your resort, or (most importantly) ship it to you. I haven't used it, but when I was at the park a couple cast members told me it should work with all the Star Wars stuff.
