Not a bad idea.

I am going with the Magnoli Imperial Officer uniform and their bespoke boots (I have wide feet with a high step so bespoke is basically the only comfortable choice). I have the forms from Magnoli for the measurements and now I only need to go to a tailor and get the measurements. I am going to be in London on Saturday and I figured that this would be a good chance to get measured for my boots and uniform.
Sounds good, right?
Apparently not because after several phone calls, I cannot find a tailor in London willing to just measure me.
Does anyone in London know of someone experienced in measurement that will measure me for my boots and uniform?
HELP!

Ah, makes sense.
Want to share a pic of it?

IOC watch?
-
I searched and was not able to find a thread about this so here it is.
For those of you that wear a watch in your normal day to day life, do you wear a watch with your uniform?
I wear a watch on daily basis and I'd feel nakeed without one. I also acknowledge that a "normal" looking watch might look out of place so I was considering getting a binary watch like this one or this one as it looks like it would fit in with the feel nicely and perhaps replace the band with a silicon one.
Edit: I have an old nano and this watch case for it that might work too.

That makes sense. Thanks for spelling it out for me.

A wise man (or was it a wise guy?) once said, "there are no stupid questions, just stupid people". So with that in mind, here are my stupid person questions....
Either it is a bit confusing or I have not yet taken in enough coffee but the path to 501st membership seems a bit unclear to me.
My undestanding is that:
In order to join the 501st, I have to have a costume.
When I have a costume, I have to first join the local garrision and get costume approval from the GML of my local garrision.
Once I have approval, I can then apply for membership with the 501st.
Is that correct?
And, as long as we are talking about membership, do I have it correct that the IOC is a seperate body from the 501st and the IOC Executor and Imperator programs are also independent from the 501st Level 2 and Level 3? And I need to be a member of the 501st before I can be a IOC member?
Sorry for the simplistic questions.
Thanks in advance. -
I just checked. It's up.

That's not a bad idea. There is an alterations place upstairs from where I drop off my shirts. Thanks!
