I don't have a prototype ready (of the Rebels style at least) but will be making them after Celebration.
I do have some type 1 and 2 code cylinder prototypes, but no pictures yet.

My type 2 is what I troop with now.

I ordered her belt and rank bar from Tiggwolf last night. So excited this is coming together. I'm also found a place that makes custom wigs. Just need to send in pictures of her hair style and they will make it. I think The wig I have here is too long at the back. So thinking this might be a better idea just getting one made.

We had the difficulty of this conversation on colour for Krennic. I think all the screen images are not white as white can be, as most of he time it doesn't look good on screen. However, White is an easy standard to impose. Otherwise you get varying degrees of cream/ivory/off white and it no longer looks uniform.

Well if he has to shave he could also do Jeems why not making the special look of Jeems L2 and the generic ISB Officer L1, like we do it on the Staff Officers with the special rank bars from ANH to reach L2? (And by the way, I still think that the R1 ISB tunic is creme-white like the ANH style )

If the goal is to not be constantly updating, then what is the policy on piecemeal updating of a CRL? For instance, a number of things have been discussed for changing, but so far, the only the rank bars have been. Should we be working on the entirety or if it gets done first cape, then tunic, etc is that still ok?

If this is a new CRL and not an addendum to the current Krennic CRL (which I originally thought Rain Coat and Flashback were going to be), let's not repeat the mistakes we are trying to fix from the current CRL.

I.E. lose the bit about exact measurements on the collar and the number of snaps and buttons to close it - the measurements should be approximate to match the wearer (2 inches on my neck is a WHOLE lot shorter than 2 inches on the neck of a 5'3" person), and the snaps bit was matching the costume of the CRL model, NOT the screen used costume.
 
Other than that, I can't see any of your pictures because Photobucket is trash - might move them to Imgur - but sounds like you're on the right track.

Looking into all this . With luck and if I can get cash together I can order it all by this weekend.
But good news on cinder pocket ...turns out they sewed the snap on with pocket up. So I just took off the snap and pocket fell back into place (thank the gods). So now just making pins for her neck piece and with luck this will be done before the end of this month. 
 
I also got lucky and found old used leather riding boots at a tack store that are in awesome shape. So its slowly coming together. 

Was just looking at Trumblr as my normal day goes. I did see the cape part.

When he meet with Vader, it looks like it is one piece only for the top cape



But his death part, it do look like a two piece but it somehow it do not look like it at the same time. as if you see the part where the two line is. (I'm may be wrong on this part. it is just what I think )

I'm working on the Krennic rain poncho cape CRL currently, and this couldn't be more right. Adding in specific numbers in instances where "this HAS to be 2 inches" is a load of malarkey. People are built differently, and ergo numbers on people will be different. The standard is the costume "has to be proportional to the wearer," which effectively makes numbers irrelevant. You come up with your own numbers. Shorter vs higher neck? Broad shoulders vs not having shoulders? Its all relative. I plan on adding a general ratio to the CRL for people to follow and use, but that's it in terms of numbers. Thoughts?

In my opinion, yes, the yoke is one piece and that line is probably for extra stability of everything underneath.

And yes, from seeing it live, part of the triple stitch (the part that bisects the front piece, is just topstitching, not a separate piece. There is a panel there that is a folded over piece that makes up the front edge, and that is bisected by a topstitched triplestitch. Again, I think this is just support, but it is there.

I am testing my outfit again to see what to fix XD before I pack it in  for SWC.

Right, but the helmet will help with the not freaking. For one, people don't expect you to talk back, so it minimizes your interaction with people. Two, it's a nice actual wall between you and rest. In a non-helmeted costume, you're expected to interact back. Even in Pryce, where I stand and glower, people expect me to talk back to them and interact. You don't have the same pressures in a helmeted costume.

And if it's heat you're worried about, uniforms are not actually any better in many situations. The key to heat issues, regardless of costume, is breaks and water.

Seriously though, you do become a different person. People here don't like the term cosplay, but this is exactly what it is. You emulate the character.
 
But if you do want a helmeted character, maybe an Imperial gunner. Or Mando.

Ya I think I'm going to have to take that much off the calves too. I'm hoping to have her done by April. Working on her today. I have to take the pocket apart to fix it. Still need to order her rank bar, belt and cinders. Doing that tonight.  I got her hair the other day. It finally came in. So with luck I will have her in by May.  I want to take her to Niagara Falls Comic con in June. 
 
 

I was flicking through theRogue One Visual Guide today and got to Erso and paused.

I know there's been discussion about the patch, and to my eye, I actually think the patch looks like it's the exact same colour as the top part of the tunic.

Maybe that's why the colouring seemed off? It seems to be the colours rtplicate the colours of the tunic, IMO, to the point that I'd probably use the fabric from the upper tunic to base it on if I was building it.

Even the on screen shot in here they look like they match.

Yay! So glad this has finally appeared.

Not to derail, but the RL won't approve Jyn in the Imperial ground crew disguise. Its a costume with no home.

Our rule (take it for what you will) - If you're a "face" character, you must look like them at all times while in public.  Several of our members on both sides, including our Obi Wan, had to get contacts to do this - they normally wear glasses.  Since Thrawn is supposed to have different eyes, that should be simple enough, prescription contacts.

For general characters, like Officers and Bridge Crew, however, glasses are allowed (and they're now cannon in the universe thanks to Rebels.)
 
So i'd say for Thrawn, take the time to get contacts you can see with that look like his eyes, and you solve two issues with one hit.

Being honest, I feel like there's a case to be made that there is a blue tip on that. It's certainly not clear that there is nothing on the top of the cylinder in that photo. But it's such a small photo it's hard to be certain.
