TBH, it hasn't been a part of the costume that I've spent a lot of time looking at. There is a rather in depth discussion on it going on in the Thrawn threads ATM, I think. Maybe for now we just say "Rebels-style code cylinder with silver clip"?

That is what we have I believe. The code cylinder looks almost like a pen clip, and is one solid piece (easy to model and print really.)

Do you have a photo?  When I look at the screen grab, their uniforms look green to me.

I'm just going off the image there and what I saw on film. Everything there looks black to me, and if I remember correctly, they had Black hats on as well.

From what I can see, there are two items:

    1. Black rain coat in the same pattern (or highly similar) as Krennic wore, by the line (olive) officers in the rain scene.

    2. Olive officer's trench coat on Jeddha that Wombat posted.

Those would be canon options, however nothing says you can't replicate a WWII pattern for conventions, etc. that are non-canon.

Unless I'm totally blind, that is. :)

Staff (Black) in Rain scene. Not Line.

Guess I didn't look close enough.  I thought they showed Line officers in rain coats too.

Line officers and Staff officers are in Trench coats on Jedha and The trading station. Staff officers also have rain coats like Krennic's on Eadu.

So were you talking about the capes or the trench coats?

Those are the gun's bullet. Which is two at the side. And inside have three bullet in each case. Ben did talk about it and show it on the Star wars youtube thing.

I think he meant the other side, there looks like a slight hook on the otherside.

  6. Going back to the gloves. It is not that other officers wear gloves. It is that Thrawn does not. Now if he wears gloves later then the crl can be amended, but until such time as we see A Grand Admiral wearing gloves in canon then this should not be an option.

As for the back seam. Again, replicating what you see, no seam on Thrawn, no seam should be the basic. Yes it makes it harder to do, yes the public won't care.

Finally the silver collar pieces. Silver, not grey. They look like they are a form of rank and on the book cover they are raised (perhaps pinned on pieces)
