Assuming he is navy that is. Might be different if he is army.

Three of each. That annoyed me as that should be Commander or Captain. Unless he was demoted very recently.

I think the center seam will be the hardest part to add
Though you could try adding a fake one and making it look like a seam. Not even sure if that is possible though.

So because I can see the exact folds present in most officers of TFA (Including Hux/Lieutenants/and even Hask in BF II) and you cannot, you are right?
If it was just one character you could claim it to be a trick of lighting. However, we have two characters, standing side by side with clear lines from the light on four knees. On top of the mathematical odds of that being poor costumes (that is a low percentage) we also know how jodpurs are because of our costumes. They do not have those lines unless the lower parts of the jodpurs are twisted around the leg. This would result in similar lines, but would also play havoc with the rest of the johdpur (upper leg) that Marc has already highlighted as not happening.
We also know from TFA that most black claf officers have that wrap, so even if we go by your logic of getting random uniforms from the set, they would have used the wrapped version as that was the most common.

I'm in the Empire and the Rebellion so I'm no help here
If we go by that logic. I am part of the mandos as well, and they are in open rebellion. Does that make me a rebel?

I don't think Hux is that special. A statement from the costuem department would be a great assistance as the outcome could habe consequences on other CRLs as well.
@Exaldear Could you please copy the pics in here so we have the Refernces for the CRL all in one place? Like Stefan I can't remember there was a clear shot of the pants so the "Hux-style" is confirmed.
It's in the posts above. You can see how the light catches the folds on the characters knees directly along the lines of the folds.

Sadly a big part of the uniform is still not visible, pants etc..
But nice behind the scenes shot
I disagree. In the other shots I have clearly seen the folds of the style the Hux has. The only part not seen in the back of the tunic, but that is fine, as the cape would be mandatory, very much like the Vader CRLs (cause we never see his back).

We have an Imperial anthem (in universe) it is the march used in Rebels.

As mentioned before:
Wearing one of the most stylish uniforms, standing on the polished deck of an imperial (maybe Super) Star Destroyer, surveying the miles of durasteel stretching in front of me. And thinking about the fact that this beauty is equipped with enough manpower to conquer a planet or the firepower to devastate it. Because sometimes a Manifesto IS better than a statement.
I prefer the Allegiance class Star Dreadnought myself.
Also, yes the Empire was flawed (having a Sith Lord as your head of state does that), but the ideas, especially the recruits in Lost Stars, is actually a decent idea.
All systems united and each stingrays point of each system helping the collective. That is a system that I could get behind a d wear the uniform with pride.

The Empire is control and stability. A unification of all sectors under one banner. For most it was peace and security, and for those the lived through the clone war it was needed as well. Under different leadership, it could have been a utopia.
On top of that, is the spaceships. The space Doritos brining peace as I heard one person describe them. As Stefan said, standing on the bridge watching a fleet perform around you with absolute perfection.

Wedge a Tycho were pilots. Pilots, a commander does outrank Captain. That is why when Poe is demoted he goes from Commander to Captain.

I can't find it digital at the moment (Google play). Might have to pay a visit to the local comic book store.

I'll give you that. Calling it as an editor mistake though. Probably to be fixed in the next print.

He's also a Lieutenant when he goes to the Academy.
True, promoted to Lieutenant Commander by the time of the Umbaran uprising.

Except that Thrawn goes Commander, Captain, Commodore, Admiral, Grand Admiral.

He was indeed. Except for the fact that he started his fighters too late
He was smart enough to realise that mistake, and almost corrected for it. A good officer gone too soon.
And I love that bridge design as well.

Rear Admiral Motti refers to General Tagge as Commander as well, so we clearly have it as a title.
-
Mainly I get Admiral, wile in my Grand Admiral. I tend to mutter Grand, kinda like Captain Jack keeps muttering Captain.
-
He, though ranked General, is more Grand Marshal and therefore oversees all military operations of the First Order.

No, as Thrawn is not a pilot.
Pilot Commander = Naval Captain, and Thrawn is an alien so immediately speaking down to him.
Otherwise. Commander is also a title, not just a Rank. If you command a ship then rank or title may be used.

Those two at the front. I can see the wrap around pants on them (be they admirals or other naval staff).

Well. I believe his cylinders are like Tarkin's from ANH with how they sit. Though I haven't watched ANH in a while.
