  1. To my eyes, that tunic is definitely too short. I think the pants should be good enough for basic approval. The belt buckle looks like its the Cosplaysky one, which is not approvable. I think the boots should be okay; the sole looks a little funny to me (almost like FO boots, but not quite), but I think they're okay. And yeah, like everyone else said, the collar definitely needs fixing. It should close square and completely. The collar on the cape should also be flush with the collar on the tunic. Also, I can't see any details on the cape, but it should be made from 15 different panels. I can't see any details on that one from the pics, but I know the Cosplaysky cape is not approvable.

As to say I can also replicate the previous ANH Lieut.? - four blue push button rank and etc. as before? - And which I got approved up to level 2?

Do you mean submitting multiple L3s? One for R1 and one for ANH?

Multiple submissions of Staff Officers is allowed, but note that with each additional submission, the level of accuracy is expected to go up. Meaning you can submit an R1 Staff Officer (Dunstig Pterro) as long as you have all the appropriate R1-style accessories, and you can submit for an ANH Lt., but with the appropriate ANH accessories. However, with the second submission, we may be more strict with submission, requiring more details of accuracy for that particular officer.

For more details, see this thread:

    Hi there @DarthFunk83 ,

I ask for some clarification on the recent changes in the Staff Officer CRL. If the context is now Rogue One, Solo, etc. Do we have to replicate an Officer from that movies right? I'm planning to replicate Captain Dunstig Pterro, the personal aide of Director Krennic. He as 2 code cylinders with silver clips, a 4 blue push buttons rank and optionally wrist size gloves and R1 size belt boxes. Is that alright? Some items are not in the current CRL but I'm most sure they will be when all changes are made.

    Hello Pedro,

Thank you for your question. You can certainly replicate an officer from R1/Solo, but as you said, you would then need to have the correct R1-style belt boxes, code cylinders with silver clips, and a hat with a code disk with no notch. Larger push buttons may also be required for the rank bar. If the officer also had gloves, I would recommend having the gloves also.

Hopefully that clarifies your question. Basically, whatever Officer you are interested in replicating, you can do so, but you will need to use the correct items to go along with it, even if the CRL doesnt explicitly have them yet. CRLs are always fluid.

  4. I love the character, and I love the costume, great job. But it's not different enough to warrant its own CRL in my opinion. As you said, it's the Line Officer CRL but no hat.

If your Garrison is ok with it, he doesn't necessarily need to troop with the hat on. But definitely run it by your Garrison command staff though.

  5. Hello Brett,

Im the Deployment Officer for the IOC (the guy who approves L2 and L3), and thought I should shed some light on this matter. Basically, what Kris said above is right. As of right now, you can get L2 and L3 with the "standard" Imperial Staff Officer uniform, using ANH configurations (rank bar, belt boxes, code cylinders, etc.). R1 and Solo variations are also allowed. However, in the future (dont know exactly when), as Jeff mentioned above, when we get around to updating the Staff Officer CRL, this will be phased out. Therefore, its not "future-proof". If you wanted to play it safe, you can always try and emulate a Staff Officer from R1 or Solo and get the corresponding pieces for those.

  6. I always highly recommend people get custom fitting. It's really worth it for the price you pay. You can get it in Female if you wish, it shouldn't affect approval.

It's possible they mess up and not make straight legged trousers. It's about 50-50 whether they do it right or not. I got black jodhpurs by mistake, but a local seamstress managed to take those jodhpurs and make them into straight pants. So it's no biggie

I was just checking CosplaySky's  ISB vs the ANH Staff Officer regs. Wouldn't the deluxe CPS Officer uniform be closer to ANH? Looks like a collar change, 1/4" seam edges and cream liner. I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on this since my non-ANH custom uniform turned out pretty good.

For a Navy Trooper Dress Uniform (Version 1), which is ANH, you need to get the ISB tunic but in black instead of cream. The ANH tunic yoke doesn't go up to the shoulder. The Deluxe uniform does. Also, you should get them to install a modesty panel.
