I got bored so I figured I would share some of my photo shop work I have done over the last week or so. It was a fun time killer and most came out pretty good for someone who really does not know what he is doing. I try though.

I did one for my TIE Reserve Pilot uniform as well, bit figured I would stick to the IOC uniforms here.

Yeah, I agree. That is why I will not get rid of the yellow. Someone may have a different opinion someday on what amber is. Lol! That and who knows? I might be in the mood for yellow on a troop.

See, in my opinion, that is more orange the amber.  I work in the automotive paint and trucking industry, the difference between orange and amber is always subjective and subtle.  It basically boils down to a preference,

Just one of my (way too many) hobbies. I built it a couple of years ago. I went a little overboard lighting it, but still one of my favorite builds.

Hey I have the same star destroyer you have there but you actually added stronger internal lights. It also has sound effects like the distress Claxton siren, engine, main battery cannons. Gave it to my 8 year old.  Yours looks awesome.

Kudos to you and your wife. Every imperial officer needs the help of his family.

it was 15 years ago today that I married my best friend. Incredible how time goes bu so quickly. She is my best friend and my partner in all respects of my life. I do not know what I would do without her . She has always been there for me and certainly saved my life on more than one occasion. I love her dearly and am truly blessed. Now, if I could get her to put on a costume and join the 501st she would bring balance to the Force.

It is a lot easier now though since everything going forward is considered cannon. I was never able to keep up with the "Legends" books because so many were released at once. If you fell behind then, you were done. I have read most of the new books, I have them all for the most part. I keep kicking the thought of reading Ashoka around. Supposedly it is a kids book, but it seems like it might be interesting.

I've heard Heir to the Jedi is a difficult book to get through.  Its one of the three I still need to get for my library here (Dark Disciple and Lords of the Sith being the other two).

Catalyst is definitely a page-turner.  I have Lost Stars and Tarkin, also.  Read 100 or so pages in Tarkin, can't even remember if I've read Lost Stars.  I've picked up so many SW novels in the last 6 months, part of me wishes they'd take a break!  I just don't have time to read anymore.

Yes, you definitely do. It also gives you a lot of insight on how disposable the Empire considers you when you have finished your work or when it comes to stripping planets of it's resources to benefit itself. I think I appreciated it more after having seen Rogue One. Having a familiarity with Krennic, Galen, Lyra and Jyn made their characters a lot more interesting and made it easier to understand where each was coming from and where their actions in this book were leading them.

Jeff - Maybe now being familiar with the characters, the book will be more interesting to you. Give it a shot.

The Rogue One novelization also goes really well with Catalyst.  I'm not quite done yet, but I should have it finished this weekend.

Overall, I really like the new canon books.  Hate to say the Aftermath trilogy doesn't do much for me though...

Same here.  Again, maybe it's our monitors - maybe it's our eyes.  But Where their trousers are dry ( or relatively so) they're obviously green.
Even their rain slickers look dark green, as if darkened by the water to me.  Although I just asked the wife and she said black over green, and I'm not arguing with her. haha

From what I can see, there are two items:

    1. Black rain coat in the same pattern (or highly similar) as Krennic wore, by the line (olive) officers in the rain scene.
    2. Olive officer's trench coat on Jeddha that Wombat posted.

Those would be canon options, however nothing says you can't replicate a WWII pattern for conventions, etc. that are non-canon.

Unless I'm totally blind, that is.

I think the rank bar is attached to the cloak, yes. The left guy is the captain pilot of the Krennic's shuttle, I suppose (From the Rogue One novelization), so a Pilot/Crew, it make sense that he's a staff officer.

I think these two officers with Krennic on Eadu are staff officers, they are present on Scarif on the control room, the color is clearly black.
