Good morning,
I am here with a question for You...I was thinking to submit a request to the IOC for an Imperator clearance level for a Scanning Crew uniform, in RotJ configuration.
The Scanning Crew I'm aiming for is displayed on the left side of the following picture...
and on the right part of the following picture...
I have a questions on the black gloves they are wearing (from the pictures I have got, gloves are too tiny or not in focus...).
Currently I have a pair of black gloves (following picture): do You think they are correct for the Imperator clearance level?
On the CRL I have not well understood if they can have, or not, the three lines on the back.Any help is really appreciated.
Also, if the gloves are not the right model to use, can someone share me a link where I can buy the correct ones?
Many thanks,Alberto Vitali - 9009

If You are interested on great comm pads replica - in black or white vacuformed ABS (I have bought 2 black to replace my and my wife old resin comm pads, and they looks great and have the right size and details), I have a friend who makes them.
on the first picture You can see a batch run.
I have asked him a link to share here, if someone is interested.
Here is the link, if interested.

Here You can see the original 3D printed master, used to vacuform the comm pads

Philo always was selling the correct "short" belt boxes, and now He's selling also the new Rogue One belt boxes (even more smaller).
He expecially made for me the "CRL version" of the belt boxes (the longest ones) but He never was selling those to anyone... and I want to **THANK SO MUCH** Philo for having made that favor to me.So all the buyer who purchased Belt Boxes from Philo have received always the correct ones (the short boxes).
Cheers,
Alberto

The correct ones, in my opinion, are the tiny boxes... here are the measures.

I totally agree with Ruthar.
I made a little research while I was asking for Executor Clearence level... here are some pictures of the CRL belt boxes (4 1/2 - awfully long ) and the more correct ones (the tiny ones, 3 1/2 inches long)... obviously it is a very personal opinion.
In the following images You can see the CRL box (the longest one) and the 3 1/2 box installed on an Imperial Belt.
The overall dimensions of the Belt buckle and the black leather strip match exactly the CRL dimension.
... please look carefully also to the attached screenshot, taken from A New Hope, and compare the dimension of the Imperial Scanning Crews belt boxes to the Belt Bucke and the belt leather strip they have on.
Cheers,
Alberto.

I made a new Pinterest archive with some stills taken from ANH, ESB and RotJ.
https://it.pinterest.com/vitali_alberto/sw-imperial-and-rebel-jumpsuits/
... seems that during the filming the two versions of the jumpsuits were used at the same time (flat pocket flaps jumpsuit, and chevron-point pocket flaps jumpsuit).
As told by Colin1138 and Daetrin seems that the jumpsuits with chevron-point pocket flaps also had the pointed collar in the back, regardless of the color of the jumpsuit...

Hi,
I was reading the 501st CRL for the Imperial Scanning Crew, and to get Level 3 it is mandatory to:
"...The suit has a pointed collar in the back"
But, to be honest, I have never seen any pointed collar evidence on SW movies (Hi resolution stills taken from Anh, ESB, RotJ) and or costume photo references shots made behind the scenes.
So, my request is... is it possible to know from what source the "pointed collar in the back" was taken and, maybe, see that source?
I guess that the CRL is wrong in that point...
Cheers,
Alberto
