Yes, the horizontal stitch is only supposed to cross the first 3 sleeves.

Regardless, those look SUPER short.  IB didn't do you any favors there.

Is that a white flightsuit?  What's that used for?

Here's a picture of the code cylinder pockets on the Anovos and WampaWear flight suits.  Easily long enough to swallow code cylinders, even on the first three pockets.

It's gray for scanning crew (actually MSE-6 operator since that's hard as a TK).  I think it just looks white because my phone messed up the white balance under yellow closet lights.

So on my CosplaySky flight suit, I carefully snipped the corners of the window up until the inner seam. I folded the now free portions of the window under the inner seam portion and then used double-sided iron-on tape strips to hold them in place. Once that was done, I took the extra step of sewing in a fuzzy patch of Velcro into the middle of the window and glued the hooked side of the Velcro to the bottom of my Comm Pad - this helps to keep the pad from slipping out of the now larger window (something I see all the time on folks during troops). It was a pretty quick and painless procedure to open the window in this manner and the best part is, I can dry clean and wash the flight suit and the sticky tape holding the flaps back sticks through and through.

I'm sure there are other thoughts on this and techniques but this worked beautifully for me. Good luck.
