rgr that! on the boot front I'll likely see how crows boots are looking like, his quality has improved greatly in the past few years so i'll give him a spin!

on a related note since i'm a gent with longer hair what would be the recomendation i dont think there is any presicdence for long haired men within the First order (sadly)

which makes me wonder if i'd be better suited to opt for a variant with a hat (like an officer) and if wearing my hair up under the hat would be more prefered

i'd also prefer to neatly crop my beard rather than remove it but i'm open to input on these aspects!

There is this hat that might work as it covers the back of the head:

Off the top of my head I can think of only one vendor who does it.

  2. Description: First Order crew

  3. Firstly  your contradicting yourself by saying ' orange tiles are operations' then in your reply you go on about how 'He could be a science officer, his title.  He could also wear the rank of a colonel  as an operations officer in the imperial military. '
You also seem to state you have 'stuff to back it up' however, all you have said it what people have said.
I could quite easily state that George Lucas has said that Star Wars is in the same universe as Star Trek. Does it make it so? No.

I thought this conversation warranted a bit more than screengrabs, but rather a dedicated T pose in neutral lighting to help us better understand how Hask plays into the CRL's. Like others have said we haven't established Veers and others as CRL's (Save for Veers in armor which for who knows why isn't under this roof) so I can't say I agree with making Hask his own unique CRL yet. The uniqueness of the character seems marginal as I'm sure his body is identical to other game models save for the face. Regardless he will be useful in helping us develop our First Order developments. Since Dice was attempting to make what we see on screen we should be treating our game models and our film models as directly related otherwise comic references and such will each need their own CRLS to remain consistent across the Board.

Really brings out that charcoal grey. But hey if we make him his own CRL don't worry about keeping your uniform clean or shaving. Yikes!

    lpBujxb.jpg

Just to note that the T Pose reference is most likely a prototype model of Hask, as on his holster it shows the clip to holder the blaster in place and in the actual in-game footage, it does not appear at all.

  5. In my opinion I believe Hask should be a separate character.

He is the main villain in several of Battlefront 2 singleplayer campaigns and major Imperial Officer villains have separate CRL's such as Krennic.

There is also definite evidence that the generic FO Battlefront officers are different to Hask therefore it would be very confusing and wrong to incorporate Hask into a CRL.

I failed to find any of these sealed datapads on screen, after watching TLJ pretty closely on 4K last night, including watching over the deleted scenes just as carefully.  :(

I did find a number of pad-type devices, but nothing that looked like the one shown in the Visual Guide. :(  They're all considerably chunkier, like at least an inch thick with a number of greeblies sticking out, and even a small screen on one!

Until 4K discs are better able to be fed into a computer, photos of my 4K TV screen is as good as we're going to get.  At some point I might pull screenshots off the Blu Ray to see if there's any improvement.

Not all of these are great, but I was pretty much trying to document EVERY instance where they were holding a tablet/pad-like device on screen, even small and in the background.

Thanks for doing a great job finding those pictures!

I really wanted to do that datapad and look to have a go at that one in the near future!

Some of the pictures because in the background seem to be black but aren't too clear to tell. It's a bit like Schrodinger's Cat (it's both the right datapad and not the right one).

  7. Hi,

I would like to add this datapad to the First Order Lieutenant/Captain CRL:

    Security Sealed Officer’s Datapad

Security Sealed Datapads are used by officers of the First Order. As they contain highly sensitive information they are kept locked and keyed to specific officers only. They were used aboard First Order Star Destroyers such as the Supremacy.

  8. In my opinion, the Republic became too corrupt and disorganised like some Republics can be such as the Roman Republic in our universe, the Empire overall was looking at unity of the galaxy under one order. I like the fact that the Empire from the perspective of ordinary citizens was overall a regime, to promote peace and order after the bloody Clone Wars and that's to me why I like the Imperial side. It's more uniformed and more efficient compared to the Republic era and the costumes overall reflect this.

The rise of the Galactic Empire is very similar to the fall of the Roman Republic and rise of the Empire which is also something I am interested in :-D.
