I'm just reading "Thrawn" so I'm not sure if I want to be spoilered. But I'm looking very much forward to this book!

Although I must say, the Rebels do seem to have fewer respiratory problems...
The cost of our power unfortunately

It’s of no surprise of course that the “help the weak” notion of the rebellion is further exemplified by rank bars based on medicine to help the weak.
Pathetic!
Join the Empire! You will not be made to coddle the weak! Only the Strong and Intelligent will advance in our lord, The Emperor’s Navy.

From the moment they reintroduced Ruhk, I was on pins and needles. Thrawn was one of my favourite characters from the moment he came on the scene in Heir to the Empire, and I'm not really ashamed to admit that I cried when he was brought back in the season 3 trailer.
I remember talking about the possibility of his reintroduction with a couple of my co-workers in the weeks before Celebration London, and was beyond elated with the way he was revealed in the trailer.
I'm very interested to see what the future brings us for his character and can't wait for Alliances to come out this summer.
I can’t wait either! Thrawn is a personal hero of mine as well. I wonder where Alliances will take place timeline wise.

Congrats!!

Definitely. I loved how they wrapped my it up by showing events after Endor. Kinda give a sense of completion. You don’t have to wonder if the characters survived the trilogy. For those of us who would follow Thrawn to the end all we can do is hope... it’s almost ironic... Hope

Besides the fact that her troops would never be so easily and quickly turned against her. Phasma trains all the troopers! She is revered by all troopers as a symbol/role model. If they were to turn on her it wouldn’t be after some traitor bad mouths her. I’m glad they deleted it.

At least I now know the time setting of the book. This is truly a great excerpt. I can’t wait until the book comes out. I’d preorder it but I like to wait until Barnes and Nobles Exclusive Edition comes out. Bound to come with a great poster.
